神责备以色列
The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！ 因为耶和华说： “我养育儿女，将他们养大， 他们竟悖逆我。Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3牛认识主人， 驴认识主人的槽； 以色列却不认识， 我的民却不明白。”The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4祸哉！犯罪的国民， 担着罪孽的百姓， 行恶的族类， 败坏的儿女！ 他们离弃耶和华， 藐视以色列的圣者， 背向他，与他疏远。Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5你们为什么屡次悖逆，继续受责打呢？ 你们已经满头疼痛， 全心发昏；Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6从脚掌到头顶， 没有一处是完好的， 尽是创伤、瘀青，与流血的伤口， 未曾挤净，未曾包扎， 也没有用膏滋润。From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7你们的土地荒芜， 城镇被火烧毁； 你们的田地在你们眼前被陌生人侵吞， 既被陌生人倾覆，就成为荒芜☛“既被...荒芜”或译“成为荒芜，如同陌生人曾被倾覆一样”。。Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8仅存的锡安☛“锡安”：原文直译“锡安女子”。， 好似葡萄园的草棚， 如瓜田中的茅屋， 又如被围困的城。And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
9若不是万军之耶和华为我们留下一些幸存者， 我们早已变成所多玛，像蛾摩拉一样了。Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10所多玛的官长啊， 你们要听耶和华的言语！ 蛾摩拉的百姓啊， 要侧耳听我们神的教诲！Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11耶和华说： “你们许多的祭物于我何益呢？ 公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的油脂， 我已经腻烦了； 公牛、羔羊、公山羊的血， 我都不喜悦。To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12“你们来朝见我， 谁向你们的手要求这些， 使你们践踏我的院宇呢？When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13不要再献无谓的供物了， 香是我所憎恶的。 我不能容忍行恶又守严肃会： 初一、安息日和召集的大会。Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14你们的初一和节期，我心里恨恶， 它们成了我的重担， 担当这些，令我厌烦。Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15你们举手祷告，我必遮眼不看， 就算你们多多祈祷，我也不听； 你们的手沾满了血。And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16你们要洗涤、自洁， 从我眼前除掉恶行； 要停止作恶，Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17学习行善， 寻求公平， 帮助受欺压的☛“帮助受欺压的”或译“导正欺压者”。， 替孤儿伸冤， 为寡妇辩护。”Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18耶和华说： “来吧，我们彼此辩论。 你们的罪虽像朱红，必变成雪白； 虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19你们若甘心听从， 必吃地上的美物；If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20若不听从，反倒悖逆， 必被刀剑吞灭； 这是耶和华亲口说的。”罪大恶极的城
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
21忠信的城竟然变为妓女！ 从前充满了公平， 公义居在其中， 现今却有凶手居住。How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
22你的银子变为渣滓， 你的酒用水冲淡。Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:
23你的官长悖逆， 与盗贼为伍， 全都喜爱贿赂， 追求赃物； 他们不为孤儿伸冤， 寡妇的案件也呈不到他们面前。Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
24因此，主－万军之耶和华、 以色列的大能者说： “唉！我要向我的对头雪恨， 向我的敌人报仇。Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25我必反手对付你， 如碱炼净你的渣滓， 除尽你的杂质。And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26我必回复你的审判官，像起初一样， 回复你的谋士，如起先一般。 然后，你必称为公义之城， 忠信之邑。”And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27锡安必因公平得蒙救赎， 其中归正的人必因公义得蒙救赎。Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28但悖逆的和犯罪的必一同败亡， 离弃耶和华的必致消灭。And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
29那等人必因所喜爱的圣树抱愧； 你们必因所选择的园子☛“园子”是拜圣树的地方。蒙羞，For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
30因为你们必如叶子枯干的橡树， 如无水的园子。For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.
31有权势的必如麻线， 他的作为好像火花， 都要一同焚烧，无人扑灭。And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
