These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.

Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males.

Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.
21那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们神面前刻苦己心，求他使我们和我们的孩子，以及一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
22我以求王拨步兵骑兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌为羞愧，因我们曾对王说：“我们神施恩的手必帮助凡寻求他的，但他的能力和愤怒必攻击凡离弃他的。”For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
23我们为此禁食祈求我们的神，他就应允我们。献给圣殿的礼物
So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
24我分派十二位祭司长，就是示利比、哈沙比雅和与他们一起的兄弟十人，Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
25把王和谋士、军官，并在那里的以色列众人为我们神殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
26我秤了交在他们手中的有六百五十他连得银子，一百他连得银器，一百他连得金子，I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
27二十个金碗，值一千达利克，上等光亮的铜器皿两个，珍贵如金。Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
28我对他们说：“你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也归为圣；金银是甘心献给耶和华－你们列祖之神的。And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
29你们要警醒看守，直到你们在祭司长和利未族长，以及以色列的各族长面前，在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库房内，把这些过了秤。”Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
30于是，祭司和利未人把秤过的金银和器皿接过来，要带到耶路撒冷我们神的殿里。返回耶路撒冷
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
31正月十二日，我们从亚哈瓦河边起行，要往耶路撒冷去。我们神的手保佑我们，救我们脱离仇敌和路上埋伏之人的手。Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
32我们到了耶路撒冷，在那里住了三日。And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.
33第四日，金银和器皿都在我们神的殿里过了秤，交在乌利亚的儿子米利末祭司的手中。同着他的有非尼哈的儿子以利亚撒，还有利未人耶书亚的儿子约撒拔和宾内的儿子挪亚底。Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
34那时，这一切都点过秤过了，重量全写在册上。By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
35从被掳之地归回的人向以色列的神献燔祭，为以色列众人献十二头公牛、九十六只公绵羊、七十七只小绵羊，又献十二只公山羊作赎罪祭，这些全都是献给耶和华的燔祭。Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
36被掳归回的人把王的谕旨交给王的总督与河西的省长，他们就支助百姓和神的殿。And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
