犹大王亚哈斯
（代下28．1－27）
利玛利的儿子比加第十七年，犹大王约坦的儿子亚哈斯登基。
In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.
2他登基的时候年二十岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他不像他祖先大卫行耶和华－他神眼中看为正的事，Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD his God, like David his father.
3却行以色列诸王的道，又照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的儿子经火，But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.
4并在丘坛上、山冈上、各青翠树下献祭烧香。And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
5那时，亚兰王利汛和利玛利的儿子以色列王比加上来攻打耶路撒冷，围困亚哈斯，却不能打胜。Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.
6当时亚兰王利汛收复以拉他回归亚兰，把犹大人从以拉他赶出去。以东人来到以拉他，住在那里，直到今日。At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day.
7亚哈斯派使者到亚述王提革拉．毗列色那里，说：“我是你的仆人，你的儿子。现在亚兰王和以色列王攻击我，求你上来，救我脱离他们的手。”So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
8亚哈斯将耶和华殿里和王宫府库里所有的金银都送给亚述王为礼物。And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.
9亚述王答应了他，上去攻打大马士革，攻下了城，杀了利汛，把居民掳到吉珥。And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.
10亚哈斯王到大马士革迎接亚述王提革拉．毗列色，在大马士革看见一座坛。亚哈斯王把坛的规模和样式，以及作法的细节，送到乌利亚祭司那里。And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that was at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof.
11乌利亚祭司照着亚哈斯王从大马士革所送来的一切，在亚哈斯王还未从大马士革回来之前，筑了一座坛。And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus.
12王从大马士革回来，看见坛，走近坛前，在坛上献祭。And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered thereon.
13他烧燔祭和素祭，献浇酒祭，将平安祭牲的血洒在坛上。And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the altar.
14他移动耶和华面前的铜坛，从殿的前面，新坛和耶和华殿的中间，搬到新坛的北边。And he brought also the brasen altar, which was before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between the altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side of the altar.
15亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众百姓的燔祭、素祭、浇酒祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和其他祭牲的血全都要洒在这坛上。至于铜坛，我要作求问之用。”And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by.
16乌利亚祭司就照着亚哈斯王所吩咐的一切做了。Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded.
17亚哈斯王把盆座四面的嵌边拆下来，把盆从座上挪下来，又将铜海从驮铜海的铜牛上搬下来，放在石板铺的地上。And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones.
18他为了亚述王的缘故，在耶和华的殿里移动☛“在耶和华的殿里移动”：有些古译本是“从耶和华的殿移走”。殿里为安息日所盖的遮棚☛“为安息日所盖的遮棚”：七十士译本是“宝座的底座”。和王从外面进来的入口。And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king's entry without, turned he from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria.
19亚哈斯其余所做的事，不都写在《犹大列王记》上吗？Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
20亚哈斯与他祖先同睡， 与他祖先同葬在大卫城，他儿子希西家接续他作王。And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
