底波拉和巴拉
以笏死后，以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。
And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
2耶和华把他们交给在夏琐作王的迦南王耶宾手中；他的将军是西西拉，住在夏罗设．哈歌印☛“夏罗设．哈歌印”或译“外邦人的夏罗设”；下同。。And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
3以色列人呼求耶和华，因为耶宾王有铁的战车九百辆，并且残酷欺压以色列人二十年。And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
4有一位女先知底波拉，是拉比多的妻子，当时作以色列的士师。And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5她住在以法莲山区拉玛和伯特利的中间，在底波拉的棕树下。以色列人都上到她那里去听审判。And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
6她派人从拿弗他利的基低斯把亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉召来，对他说：“耶和华－以色列的神吩咐你：‘你要率领一万拿弗他利人和西布伦人上他泊山去。And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
7我必使耶宾的将军西西拉率领他的战车和全军往基顺河，到你那里去，我必把他交在你手中。’”And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
8巴拉对她说：“你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。”And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.
9底波拉说：“我一定会与你同去，然而你在所行的路上必得不着荣耀，因为耶和华要把西西拉交给一个妇人的手里。”于是底波拉起来，与巴拉一同往基低斯去了。And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
10巴拉召集西布伦人和拿弗他利人到基低斯，跟他上去的有一万人。底波拉也同他上去。And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
11摩西岳父何巴的后裔，基尼人希百离开了基尼族，到靠近基低斯的撒拿音橡树旁支搭帐棚。Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.
12有人告诉西西拉：“亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉已经上了他泊山。”And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
13西西拉就召集所有的铁战车九百辆和随从的全军，从夏罗设．哈歌印出来，到了基顺河。And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
14底波拉对巴拉说：“起来，今日就是耶和华把西西拉交在你手中的日子。耶和华岂不在你前面行吗总”于是巴拉下了他泊山，跟随他的有一万人。And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15耶和华使西西拉和他一切的战车，以及全军溃乱，在巴拉面前倒在刀下。西西拉下了车，徒步逃跑。And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
16巴拉追赶战车、军队，直到夏罗设．哈歌印。西西拉的全军都倒在刀下，一个也没有留下。But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.
17只有西西拉徒步逃跑到基尼人希百之妻雅亿的帐棚，因为夏琐王耶宾与基尼人的希百家和平共处。Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18雅亿出来迎接西西拉，对他说：“请我主进来，进到我这里来，不要怕。”西西拉就进了她的帐棚，雅亿用被子将他盖住。And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
19西西拉对雅亿说：“我渴了，求你给我一点水喝。”雅亿就打开装奶的皮袋，给他喝，再把他盖住。And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
20西西拉对雅亿说：“请你站在帐棚门口，若有人来问你说：‘有人在这里吗？’你就说：‘没有。’”Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.
21西西拉疲乏沉睡了。希百的妻雅亿取了帐棚的橛子，手拿着锤子，静悄悄地到他那里，将橛子从他的太阳穴钉进去，直钉到地里。西西拉就死了。Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
22看哪，巴拉追赶西西拉，雅亿出来迎接他，对他说：“来，我给你看你要找的人。”他就进入帐棚，看哪，西西拉已经倒在地上死了，橛子还在他的太阳穴中。And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.
23那日，神在以色列人面前制伏了迦南王耶宾。So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
24从此，以色列人的手对迦南王耶宾越来越强硬，直到将迦南王耶宾剪除。And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
