圣殿工程动工
（王上6．1－38）
所罗门在耶路撒冷开工建造耶和华的殿，就在耶和华向他父亲大卫显现的摩利亚山上，耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场，大卫指定的地方。
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2所罗门作王第四年二月初二☛有古卷、七十士译本和其他古译本没有“初二”；参王上6．1。开工建造。And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3所罗门所建筑的神殿的根基是这样：长六十肘，宽二十肘，都按着古时的尺寸。Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4前面的☛“前面的”：七十士译本是“殿前的”。走廊长二十肘，与殿的宽度一样，高一百二十肘；里面贴上纯金。And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5大殿的墙都用松木板遮蔽，又贴上纯金，上面刻着棕树和链子。And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6他用宝石装饰这殿，使殿华美；金子都是巴瓦音的金子。And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7他用金子贴殿和殿的栋梁、门槛、墙壁、门扇；墙上刻着基路伯。He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8他建造至圣所，长二十肘，与殿的宽度一样，宽二十肘，都贴上纯金，共用了六百他连得金子。And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9金的钉子重五十舍客勒。楼房都贴上金子。And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10他又在至圣所用雕刻的手艺造两个基路伯，包上金子。And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11两个基路伯的翅膀共长二十肘。这基路伯的一个翅膀长五肘，挨着殿这边的墙；另一个翅膀也长五肘，与那基路伯翅膀相接。And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12那基路伯的一个翅膀长五肘，挨着殿那边的墙；另一个翅膀也长五肘，与这基路伯的翅膀相接。And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13这两个基路伯张开翅膀，共长二十肘，用脚站立，脸面向殿。The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14他又用蓝色、紫色、朱红色线和细麻织幔子，在其上绣基路伯。两根铜柱

And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15他在殿前造了两根柱子，高三十五肘；柱子上面的柱顶高五肘。Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16他造链子在内殿里，安在柱顶上，又做一百个石榴，安在链子上。And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17他把两根柱子立在殿前，一根在右边，一根在左边；右边的起名叫雅斤，左边的起名叫波阿斯。And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
