举哀时的禁例
“你们是耶和华─你们神的儿女。不可为了死人割划自己,也不可使额上☛“额上”:原文是“两眼之间”。光秃;
Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2因为你是属于耶和华-你神神圣的子民,耶和华从地面上的万民中拣选了你,作自己宝贵的子民。”洁净和不洁净的食物
(利11.1-21)
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
3“凡可憎的物, 你都不可吃。Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
4可吃的牲畜是:牛、绵羊、山羊、These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
5鹿、羚、麃子、野山羊、瞪羚、羚羊、山绵羊。The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
6凡蹄分两瓣,分趾蹄而又反刍食物的牲畜,你们都可以吃。And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
7但那反刍或分蹄之中不可吃的是:骆驼、兔子、石獾,虽然反刍却不分蹄,对你们是不洁净的;Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
8猪,虽然分蹄却不反刍,对你们也是不洁净的。它们的肉,你们一点都不可吃;它们的尸体,你们也不可摸。And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
9“水中可吃的是这些:凡有鳍有鳞的都可以吃;These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10凡无鳍无鳞的都不可吃,对你们是不洁净的。And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
11“凡洁净的鸟,你们都可以吃。Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
12不可吃的是:雕、狗头雕、红头雕、But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
13鹯、小鹰、鹞鹰的类群,And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
14各种乌鸦的类群、And every raven after his kind,
15鸵鸟、夜鹰、鱼鹰、鹰的类群、And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
16鸮鸟、猫头鹰、角鸱、The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
17鹈鹕、秃雕、鸬鹚、And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,
18鹳、鹭鸶的类群、戴鵀与蝙蝠。And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
19凡有翅膀却爬行的群聚动物对你们是不洁净的,都不可吃。And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
20凡洁净的鸟,你们都可以吃。But of all clean fowls ye may eat.
21“凡自然死去的动物,你们都不可吃,可以给城里寄居的人吃,或卖给外人,因为你是属于耶和华-你神神圣的子民。“不可用母山羊的奶来煮它的小山羊。”
十一奉献的条例
Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
22“每年,你务必从你播种的一切收成,田地所出产的,取十分之一献上。Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
23要在耶和华-你神面前,就是他选择那里作为他名居所的地方,吃你所献十分之一的五谷、新酒和新的油,以及牛群羊群中头生的,好让你天天学习敬畏耶和华-你的神。And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
24当耶和华-你的神赐福给你的时候,耶和华-你神选择立他名的地方若离你太远,路途太长,使你不能把这东西带到那里去,And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
25你可以把它换成银子,把银子包起来,拿在手中,往耶和华-你神所选择的地方去。Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
26在那里,你可以随心所欲用银子或买牛羊,或买清酒烈酒,或买任何你心所想的。你和你的全家要在耶和华-你神面前吃喝欢乐。And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
27“住在你城里的利未人,你不可离弃他,因为他在你那里没有分得产业。And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
28每三年的最后一年,你要把那一年收成的十分之一取出来,积存在你的城中;At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
29那没有与你一起分得产业的利未人,和城里的寄居者,以及孤儿寡妇,都可以前来,吃得饱足,好让耶和华-你的神在你手里所做的一切事上赐福给你。”And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
