犹大百姓的厄运
耶和华对我说：“虽有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顾惜这百姓。你把他们从我眼前赶出，叫他们出去吧！
Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
2他们若问你说：‘我们往哪里去呢？’你就告诉他们，耶和华如此说： ‘定为死亡的，必致死亡； 定为刀杀的，必被刀杀； 定为饥荒的，必遭饥荒； 定为掳掠的，必被掳掠。’”And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
3“我命定四样灾害临到他们，就是刀剑杀戮、群狗拖拉、空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽吞吃毁灭。这是耶和华说的。And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
4我必使地上万国因他们而惊骇，都因希西家的儿子犹大王玛拿西在耶路撒冷所做的事。”And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
5耶路撒冷啊，有谁同情你呢？ 有谁为你悲伤呢？ 有谁转身问你安呢？For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?
6你弃绝了我， 转身退后； 因此我伸手攻击你，毁灭你， 我已怜悯到厌烦了。 这是耶和华说的。Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
7我在境内各关口 用簸箕筛我的百姓， 使他们丧掉儿女， 又毁灭他们， 他们仍不转离所行的道。And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they return not from their ways.
8他们的寡妇在我面前比海沙更多； 我使灭命者在正午来到， 攻击年轻人的母亲， 使痛苦惊吓忽然临到她身上。Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
9生过七个孩子的妇人衰弱； 尚在白昼，太阳忽然落下， 她就抱愧蒙羞。 我必当着敌人的面， 将他们当中的幸存者交给刀剑。 这是耶和华说的。耶利米向耶和华诉苦
She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
10我的母亲哪，我有祸了！因你生我作全地争相指控的人。我素来没有借贷给人，人也没有借贷给我，人人却都咒骂我。Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
11耶和华说：“我必定释放☛“释放”：原文另译“坚固”。你，使你得福气。灾祸苦难来临时，我必使仇敌央求你。The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
12人岂能将铜与铁，就是北方的铁折断呢？Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
13“我必因你在四境之内所犯的一切罪，将你的货物财宝当掠物，白白地交出来☛“白白地交出来”：原文直译“不以任何代价交出来”；七十士译本是“作为该付的代价”。。Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
14我要使你的仇敌过去，到你所不认识的地方☛“我要...地方”：有古卷和七十士译本是“我要使你在你所不认识之地服侍你四围的仇敌”。，因为你们要被我怒中所起的火焚烧。”And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
15耶和华啊，你是知道的； 求你记念我，眷顾我， 向迫害我的人为我报仇； 不要把我取去，因你不轻易发怒， 要知道我为你的缘故受了凌辱。O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
16耶和华－万军之神啊， 我得着你的话就把它们吃了， 你的话是我心中的欢喜快乐； 因我是称为你名下的人。Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
17我并未坐在享乐人的会中欢乐； 因你的手，我就独自静坐， 你使我满心愤慨。I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
18我的痛苦为何长久不止呢？ 我的伤痕为何无法可医，不能痊愈呢？ 难道你以诡诈待我，像流干的河道吗？Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?
19所以耶和华如此说：“你若回转， 我就使你归回， 站在我面前。 你若能将宝物和无用之物分别出来， 你就可以当作我的口。 他们必归向你， 你却不可归向他们。Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
20我必使你向这百姓成为坚固的铜墙。 他们必攻击你，却不能胜过你； 因我与你同在，要拯救你，搭救你。 这是耶和华说的。And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
21我必搭救你脱离恶人的手， 救赎你脱离残暴之人的手。”And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
