所罗门的臣仆
所罗门作全以色列的王。
So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2这些是他的官员：撒督的儿子亚撒利雅作祭司，And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
3示沙的两个儿子以利何烈、亚希亚作书记，亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官，Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
4耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅作元帅，撒督和亚比亚他作祭司，And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:
5拿单的儿子亚撒利雅作宰相，拿单的儿子撒布得作祭司和王的顾问，And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:
6亚希煞作管家，亚比大的儿子亚多尼兰掌管服劳役的工人。And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.
7所罗门在全以色列有十二个官员，供给王和王室的食物，每年各人供给一个月。And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.
8这些是他们的名字：在以法莲山区有便．户珥；And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
9在玛迦斯、沙宾、伯．示麦、以伦．伯．哈南有便．底甲；The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:
10在亚鲁泊有便．希悉，他管理梭哥和希弗全地；The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11在多珥山冈☛“山冈”或译“全境”。有便．亚比拿达，他娶了所罗门的女儿她法为妻；The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
12在他纳和米吉多，以及靠近撒拉他拿、耶斯列下边的伯．善全地，从伯．善到亚伯．米何拉直到约缅的另一边有亚希律的儿子巴拿；Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:
13在基列的拉末有便．基别，他管理在基列的玛拿西子孙睚珥的城镇，巴珊的亚珥歌伯地的六十座大城，各有城墙和铜闩；The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
14在玛哈念有易多的儿子亚希拿达；Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:
15在拿弗他利有亚希玛斯，他也娶了所罗门的一个女儿巴实抹为妻；Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
16在亚设和亚禄有户筛的儿子巴拿；Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:
17在以萨迦有帕路亚的儿子约沙法；Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:
18在便雅悯有以拉的儿子示每；Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
19在基列地，就是亚摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩之地，有乌利的儿子基别，他一个官员管理这地 ☛“有乌利的儿子基别，他一个官员管理这地”或译“有乌利的儿子基别。另有一个官员管理这地”；后者的“这地”指犹大。。Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.
所罗门的富强
20犹大人和以色列人如同海边的沙那样多，都吃喝快乐。Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
21所罗门统治诸国，从大河到非利士地，直到埃及的边界。所罗门在世的日子，这些国都向他进贡，服事他。And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22所罗门每日所用的食物：三十歌珥细面，六十歌珥粗面，And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
23十头肥牛，二十头草场的牛，一百只羊，还有鹿、羚羊、麃子，以及肥禽。Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
24所罗门管理整个大河西边，从提弗萨直到迦萨，以及大河西边的诸王，属他的四境尽都平安。For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
25所罗门在世的日子，从但到别是巴，犹大和以色列各人都在自己的葡萄树下和无花果树下安然居住。And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
26所罗门拥有给战车用的四万个☛“四万个”：原文另译“四千个”；参代下9．25。马棚，还有一万二千名骑兵。And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27这些官员各按自己的月份供给所罗门王，以及一切与他同席之人的食物，一无所缺。And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.
28他们各按其分，把给马与快马吃的大麦和干草送到指定的地方去。Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
所罗门的智慧
29神赐给所罗门极大的智慧和聪明，以及宽阔的心，如同海边的沙。And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.
30所罗门的智慧超过所有东方人的智慧，和埃及人一切的智慧。And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31他的智慧胜过万人，胜过以斯拉人以探，以及玛曷的儿子希幔、甲各、达大。他的名声传遍四围的列国。For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
32他作箴言三千句，诗歌一千零五首。And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
33他讲论草木，从黎巴嫩的香柏树直到墙上长的牛膝草，又讲论飞禽、走兽、爬行动物和鱼类。And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34地上凡曾听过他智慧的君王，都派人来；万民都有人来听所罗门的智慧。And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
