可拉、大坍、亚比兰和安的叛变
利未的曾孙，哥辖的孙子，以斯哈的儿子可拉，连同吕便子孙中以利押的儿子大坍和亚比兰，与比勒的儿子安，带了
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2以色列人中的二百五十个领袖，就是有名望、从会众中选出来的人，在摩西面前一同起来，And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
3聚集攻击摩西、亚伦，说：“你们太过分了！全会众人人都成为圣，耶和华也在他们中间。你们为什么抬高自己，在耶和华的会众之上呢？”And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
4摩西听见就脸伏于地，And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
5对可拉和他所有同伙的人说：“到了早晨，耶和华必指示谁是属他的，谁是成为圣的，就准许谁亲近他。他要叫自己所拣选的人亲近他。And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
6可拉和你所有同伙的人哪，你们要这样做：要拿着香炉，This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
7明天在耶和华面前把火盛在炉中，把香放在上面。耶和华拣选谁，谁就成为圣。利未的子孙哪，你们太过分了！”And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
8摩西又对可拉说：“利未的子孙，听吧！And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
9以色列的神将你们从以色列会众中分别出来，使你们亲近他，在耶和华的帐幕中事奉，并且站在会众面前替他们供职。这对你们岂是小事吗？Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
10耶和华已经准许你和你所有的弟兄，就是利未的子孙，一同亲近他，你们还要求祭司的职分吗？And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
11所以，你和你所有同伙的人聚集是在攻击耶和华。亚伦算什么，你们竟向他发怨言？”For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
12摩西派人去叫以利押的儿子大坍和亚比兰。他们却说：“我们不上去！And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
13你把我们从流奶与蜜之地领出来，让我们死在旷野，这岂是小事？你还要自立为王管辖我们吗？Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
14你根本没有领我们到流奶与蜜之地，也没有给我们田地和葡萄园作为产业。难道你想要挖这些人的眼睛吗？我们不上去！”Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
15摩西非常生气，就对耶和华说：“求你不要接受他们的供物。我并没有夺过他们一匹驴，也没有害过他们中任何一个人。”And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16摩西对可拉说：“明天，你和你所有同伙的人，以及亚伦，都要站在耶和华面前。And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17你们各人要拿一个香炉，把香放在上面，各人带香炉到耶和华面前，共二百五十个；你和亚伦也各拿自己的香炉。”And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18于是他们各人拿一个香炉，盛着火，加上香，和摩西、亚伦一同站在会幕的门口。And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
19可拉召集全会众到会幕门口攻击摩西和亚伦。这时，耶和华的荣光向全会众显现。And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
20耶和华吩咐摩西和亚伦说：And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21“你们离开这会众，我好立刻把他们灭绝。”Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22摩西、亚伦脸伏于地，说：“神，赐万人气息的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗？”And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
23耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24“你吩咐会众说：‘你们远离可拉、大坍和亚比兰帐棚的周围。’”Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25摩西起来，到大坍、亚比兰那里去；以色列的长老也都跟着他去。And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26他吩咐会众说：“你们离开这些恶人的帐棚吧！不可碰他们的任何东西，免得你们因他们一切的罪而消灭。”And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27于是会众远离了可拉、大坍和亚比兰的帐棚。大坍和亚比兰带着妻子、儿女和小孩子出来，站在自己的帐棚门口。So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
28摩西说：“因这件事，你们就必知道这一切事是耶和华差派我做的，并非出于我的心意。And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29这些人的死若和世人无异，或者他们所遭遇的和其他人相同，那么耶和华就不曾差派我了。If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.
30但是，倘若耶和华创作一件新事，使地开了裂口，把他们和一切属他们的都吞下去，叫他们活活坠落阴间，你们就知道是这些人藐视了耶和华。”But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
31摩西刚说完这些话，他们脚下的地就裂开，And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32地开了裂口，把他们和他们的家眷，以及一切属可拉的人和财物，都吞了下去。And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33他们和一切属他们的，都活活坠落阴间；地在他们上面又合拢起来，他们就从会众中灭亡了。They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
34在他们四围的以色列众人听见他们的叫声，就都逃跑，说：“恐怕地也要把我们吞下去了！”And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
35有火从耶和华那里出来，吞灭了那上香的二百五十人。And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
36耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
37“你要对亚伦祭司的儿子以利亚撒说，把香炉从火中移开，再把炭火撒在别处，因为这些香炉是分别为圣的。Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
38要把那些犯罪自丧己命之人的香炉锤成薄片，用以包祭坛；因为这些本是他们在耶和华面前献过，分别为圣的，可以给以色列人作记号。”The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
39于是以利亚撒祭司把被烧死的人所献的铜香炉拿来；它们被锤出来，用以包坛，And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
40给以色列人作纪念，为要叫亚伦子孙之外的人不得近前来，在耶和华面前烧香，免得他和可拉与同他一伙的人一样，正如耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的。To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.
41第二天，以色列全会众都向摩西、亚伦发怨言说：“你们杀了耶和华的百姓了。”But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
42会众聚集攻击摩西、亚伦的时候，摩西和亚伦转向会幕，看哪，云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光显现。And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
43摩西、亚伦就来到会幕前。And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
45“你们离开这会众，我好立刻把他们灭绝。”他们二人就脸伏于地。Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
46摩西对亚伦说：“拿你的香炉，把祭坛的火盛在里面，加上香，赶快带到会众那里，为他们赎罪。因为有愤怒从耶和华面前发出，瘟疫已经开始了。”And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
47亚伦照摩西所说的拿了香炉，跑到会众中。看哪，瘟疫已经在百姓中开始了。他就加上香，为百姓赎罪。And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
48他站在活人和死人之间，瘟疫就止住了。And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
49除了因可拉事件死的以外，遭瘟疫死的共有一万四千七百人。Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
50亚伦回到会幕门口 ，到摩西那里，瘟疫已经止住了。And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.
