亚伦的儿子
耶和华在西奈山与摩西说话的日子，亚伦和摩西的后代如下：
These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
2这些是亚伦儿子的名字，长子拿答，及亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛。And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3这些是亚伦儿子的名字，都是受膏的祭司，是摩西授圣职使他们担任祭司职分的。These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.
4拿答、亚比户在西奈的旷野向耶和华献上凡火的时候，死在耶和华面前。他们没有儿子。以利亚撒和以他玛在他们的父亲亚伦面前担任祭司的职分。利未人的职责
And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
5耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6“你要带利未支派近前来，站在亚伦祭司面前伺候他。Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
7他们要替他，又替全会众，在会幕前执行任务，办理帐幕的事。And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8他们要看守会幕一切的器具，为以色列人执行任务，办理帐幕的事。And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9你要把利未人给亚伦和他的儿子；他们是从以色列人中选出来完全给他的。And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
10你要指派亚伦和他的儿子谨守祭司的职分；近前来的外人必被处死。”And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
11耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12“看哪，我从以色列人中选了利未人，代替以色列人中所有头胎的长子；利未人要归我。And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
13因为凡头生的是我的；我在埃及地击杀所有头生的那日，就把以色列中所有头生的，无论是人或牲畜，都分别为圣归我；他们定要属我。我是耶和华。”利未人的人口调查
Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
14耶和华在西奈的旷野吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15“你要照父家、宗族计算利未人。凡一个月以上的男子都要数点。”Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
16于是摩西遵照耶和华的吩咐，按所指示的数点他们。And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
17利未儿子的名字是革顺、哥辖、米拉利。And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18按照宗族，革顺儿子的名字是立尼、示每。And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
19按照宗族，哥辖的儿子是暗兰、以斯哈、希伯伦、乌薛。And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20按照宗族，米拉利的儿子是抹利、母示。按照父家，这些都是利未人的宗族。And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
21属革顺的有立尼族、示每族，他们是革顺人的宗族。Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22他们被数的，一个月以上所有男子的数目共有七千五百名。Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
23这革顺人的宗族要在西边，在帐幕后面安营。The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
24革顺人父家的领袖是拉伊勒的儿子以利雅萨。And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25革顺的子孙在会幕中要看守的是帐幕、罩棚、罩棚的盖、会幕的门帘、And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26帐幕和祭坛周围院子的帷幔和门帘，以及所有需用的绳子。And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
27属哥辖的有暗兰族、以斯哈族、希伯伦族、乌薛族，他们是哥辖人的宗族。And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
28一个月以上所有男子的数目共有八千六百☛“八千六百”：七十士译本的一个抄本是“八千三百”。名；他们负责看守圣所。In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
29哥辖子孙的宗族要在帐幕的南边安营。The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
30哥辖人父家宗族的领袖是乌薛的儿子以利撒反。And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31他们要看守的是约柜、供桌、灯台、祭坛、香坛、祭司在圣所内用的器皿、帘子，与一切相关事奉的物件。And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
32亚伦祭司的儿子以利亚撒是利未人众领袖的主管，他要监督那些负责看守圣所的人。And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
33属米拉利的有抹利族、母示族，他们是米拉利的宗族。Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
34他们被数的，一个月以上所有男子的数目共有六千二百名。And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
35米拉利宗族的领袖是亚比亥的儿子苏列，他们要在帐幕的北边安营。And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
36米拉利子孙的职分是看守帐幕的竖板、横木、柱子、带卯眼的座和一切的器具，就是一切相关事奉的物件，And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
37以及院子四围的柱子、其上带卯眼的座、橛子和绳子。And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
38在帐幕前东边，向日出的方向，安营的是摩西、亚伦和亚伦的儿子。他们负责看守圣所，是为以色列人看守的。近前来的外人必被处死。But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
39凡被数的利未人，就是摩西、亚伦照耶和华所指示、按宗族所数的，一个月以上所有的男子共有二万二千名。利未人代替长子
All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
40耶和华对摩西说：“你要数点以色列人中凡一个月以上头生的男子，登记他们的名字。And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41我是耶和华。你要拣选利未人归我，代替所有头生的以色列人，也取利未人的牲畜代替以色列人所有头生的牲畜。”And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
42摩西就遵照耶和华所吩咐的，把所有以色列人头生的都数点了。And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
43按人名的数目，凡一个月以上头生的男子共有二万二千二百七十三名。And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
44耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
45“你要拣选利未人代替所有头生的以色列人，也要取利未人的牲畜代替以色列人的牲畜。利未人要归我，我是耶和华。Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
46以色列人头生的男子比利未人多了二百七十三名，必须把他们赎出来；And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
47按照人丁，照圣所的舍客勒，每人当付五舍客勒，一舍客勒是二十季拉。Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
48你要把这些多出来的人的赎银交给亚伦和他的儿子。”And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
49于是摩西从那被利未人所赎以外多出来的人取了赎银。And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
50从头生的以色列人所取的银子，按照圣所的舍客勒，共计一千三百六十五舍客勒。Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
51摩西遵照耶和华指示的话，把赎银交给亚伦和他的儿子，正如耶和华所吩咐的。And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
