洪水
耶和华对挪亚说：“你和你的全家都要进入方舟，因为在这世代中，我看你在我面前是个义人。
And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2凡洁净的牲畜，你要各取七公七母；不洁净的牲畜，你要各取一公一母；Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3天空的飞鸟也要各取七公七母，为了要留种，活在全地面上。Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4因为再过七天，我要降雨在地上四十昼夜，把我所造的一切生物从地面上除灭。”For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5挪亚就遵照耶和华吩咐他的去做。And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
6当洪水☛“洪水”：原文是“洪水的水”。在地上泛滥的时候，挪亚已六百岁。And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7挪亚同他的儿子、妻子和媳妇都进入方舟，躲避洪水。And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8洁净的牲畜和不洁净的牲畜，飞鸟及所有爬行在土地上的，Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9都一对一对，有公有母，到挪亚那里，进入方舟，正如神所吩咐挪亚的。There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10过了七天，洪水泛滥在地上。And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11挪亚六百岁那一年的二月十七日，就在那一天，大深渊的泉源都裂开，天上的窗户也敞开了，In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12四十昼夜有大雨降在地上。And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13正在那日，挪亚和他的儿子闪、含、雅弗，以及挪亚的妻子和三个媳妇，都一同进入方舟。In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14他们和一切走兽，各从其类；一切牲畜，各从其类；地上爬的一切爬行动物，各从其类；一切的鸟，就是一切有翅膀的飞禽，各从其类；They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15凡有生命气息的血肉之躯，都一对一对到挪亚那里，进入方舟。And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16凡有血肉的，都一公一母进入方舟，正如神所吩咐挪亚的。耶和华就把他关在方舟里。And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
17洪水在地上泛滥四十天，水往上涨，使方舟浮起，方舟就从地上漂起来。And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18水势汹涌，在地上大大上涨，方舟在水面上漂荡。And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19水势在地上极其浩大，普天下所有的高山都淹没了。And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20水势汹涌，比山高出十五肘 ，山岭都淹没了。Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21凡有血肉在地上行动的，就是飞鸟、牲畜、走兽和地上成群的群聚动物，以及所有的人，都死了。And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22在干地上凡鼻孔里有生命气息的都死了。All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23耶和华除灭了地面上各类的生物，包括人和牲畜、爬行动物，以及天空的飞鸟；他们就都从地上除灭了，只剩下挪亚和那些与他同在方舟里的。And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24水势汹涌，在地上共一百五十天。And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
