神斥责拜偶像的罪
有几个以色列的长老到我这里来，坐在我面前。
Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.
2耶和华的话临到我，说：And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
3“人子啊，这些人在心中设立偶像，把陷自己于罪的绊脚石放在面前，我真的能让他们求问吗？Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
4所以你要告诉他们，对他们说：‘主耶和华如此说：以色列家的人，凡在心中设立偶像，把陷自己于罪的绊脚石放在面前，却来到先知那里的，我─耶和华在他所求的事上，必因他拜许多偶像向他施行报应☛“在他...报应”：原文另译“必报应那些带着许多偶像来的人”。，Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;
5为要夺回以色列家的心，他们全都拜偶像，与我疏远了。’That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6“所以你要对以色列家说：‘主耶和华如此说：回转吧！回转离开你们的偶像，转脸离开一切可憎的事。’Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7因为以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡与我隔绝，在心中设立偶像，把陷自己于罪的绊脚石放在面前，却来到先知那里，要为自己的事求问我的，我─耶和华必亲自报应他。For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
8我要向那人变脸，使他成为警戒和笑柄，并且我要把他从我民中剪除；你们就知道我是耶和华。And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
9先知若被骗说了一句预言，是我─耶和华骗了那先知，我要伸手攻击他，把他从我百姓以色列中除灭。And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10他们必担当自己的罪孽。先知的罪孽和求问之人的罪孽都一样，And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;
11使以色列家不再走迷离开我，也不再因各样的罪过玷污自己，却要作我的子民，我也作他们的神。这是主耶和华说的。”That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.
挪亚、但以理、约伯
12耶和华的话临到我，说：The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
13“人子啊，若有一国犯罪干犯我，我也伸手攻击它，断绝他们粮食的供应，使饥荒临到那地，将人与牲畜从其中剪除；Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
14虽有挪亚、但以理、约伯这三人在那里，他们只能因自己的义救自己的命。这是主耶和华说的。Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
15我若使恶兽经过那地，大肆蹂躏，使地荒凉，以致因这些兽，人都不得经过；If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:
16虽有这三人在其中，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只有他们自己可以得救，那地仍然荒凉。Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.
17或者我使刀剑临到那地，说：‘让刀剑穿越那地’，以致我把人与牲畜从其中剪除；Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:
18虽有这三人在其中，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只有他们自己可以得救。Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
19或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，把我的愤怒带着血倾在其中，好使人与牲畜从其中剪除；Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
20虽有挪亚、但以理、约伯在那里，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只能因自己的义救自己的命。Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
21“主耶和华如此说：我若将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不是更严重吗？For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
22看哪，在那里必有幸免于难的人带着儿子女儿；看哪，他们来到你们这里；你们看见他们的所作所为，就会因我降给耶路撒冷的灾祸，因我降给它的一切，得到安慰。Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
23你们因看见他们的所作所为，得到安慰，就会知道我在耶路撒冷所做的并非毫无缘故。这是主耶和华说的。”And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
