许愿的条例
摩西对以色列各支派的领袖说：“这是耶和华所吩咐的话：
And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2人若向耶和华许愿或起誓，要约束自己，就不可食言，必须照口中所出的一切话去做。If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3女子年轻，还在父家的时候，若向耶和华许愿，要约束自己，If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;
4她父亲听见她所许的愿和约束自己的话，却向她默默不言，她所许的愿和约束自己的话就都有效。And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5但是，若她父亲在听见的日子不允许她一切所许的愿和约束自己的话，这就不算为有效；耶和华也必赦免她，因为她的父亲不允许。But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6她若已出嫁，有愿在身，或口中出了约束自己的冒失话，And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7她丈夫听见了，却在听见的日子向她默默不言，她所许的愿和约束自己的话就都有效。And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8但是，若她丈夫在听见的日子不允许，丈夫就废了她所许的愿和口中所出约束自己的冒失话；耶和华也必赦免她。But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9寡妇或被休的妇人所许的愿，她所有约束自己的话，都是有效的。But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10她若在丈夫家里许了愿或起了誓，要约束自己，And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11丈夫听见了，却向她默默不言，没有不允许，她所许的愿和约束自己的话就都有效。And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12她丈夫听见的日子，若把这些全废了，她口中一切所许的愿或约束自己的话就不算为有效。她丈夫已把这些都废了，耶和华也必赦免她。But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13凡她所许的愿和刻苦约束自己所起的誓，丈夫可以坚立，也可以废去。Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14倘若她丈夫天天向她默默不言，这就算是坚立她一切所许的愿或约束自己的话；因为丈夫在听见的日子向她默默不言，就算是坚立了这些话。But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15但她丈夫听见了，以后若再废了这些话，就要担当妇人的罪孽。”But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16这是关于丈夫待妻子，父亲待女儿，女儿年轻还在父家，耶和华所吩咐摩西的条例。These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
