不洁净的人
耶和华吩咐摩西说：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2“你要吩咐以色列人，把一切患麻风☛“麻风”泛指传染性皮肤病。的、患漏症的和因尸体而不洁净的，都送到营外去。Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
3无论男女你都要送，把他们送到营外，免得他们玷污了他们的营，这是我住在他们中间的地方。”Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
4以色列人就照样做，把他们送到营外去。耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，以色列人就照样做了。And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
认罪和赔偿
5耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6“你要吩咐以色列人：无论男女，若犯了人所常犯的任何罪☛“若犯了人所常犯的任何罪”或译“若犯了任何亏负人的罪”。，以致干犯耶和华，那人就有了罪。Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
7他要承认所犯的罪，将所亏负人的如数赔偿，另外再加五分之一，交给所亏负的人。Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
8那人若没有至亲可接受所赔偿的，所赔偿的就要归耶和华，交给祭司；另外还要献一只赎罪的公羊为他赎罪。But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
9以色列人一切的圣物中，所奉给祭司的一切礼物都要归给祭司。And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
10各人自己的圣物归自己，给祭司的要归给祭司。”And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
疑妻不贞的案件
11耶和华吩咐摩西说：And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12“你要吩咐以色列人，对他们说：若任何人的妻子背离妇道，对丈夫不贞，Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
13有人与她同寝交合，这事瞒过她的丈夫，没有被发现；她玷污自己，没有证人指控她，也没有被捉住；And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
14丈夫若生了疑忌的心，对妻子起了疑忌，认为她玷污自己；或是丈夫生了疑忌的心，对妻子起了疑忌，虽然她没有玷污自己，And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
15这人要带妻子到祭司那里，同时为她带十分之一伊法大麦面粉作供物。不可浇上油，也不可加乳香，因为这是疑忌的素祭，是纪念的素祭，使人记得罪孽。Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16“祭司要使那妇人近前来，站在耶和华面前。And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
17祭司要把圣水盛在瓦器里，从帐幕的地上取些尘土，放在水中。And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
18祭司要带那妇人站在耶和华面前，使她蓬头散发，再把纪念的素祭，就是疑忌的素祭，放在她的手掌，祭司手里捧着致诅咒的苦水。And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
19祭司要叫妇人起誓，对她说：‘若没有人与你同寝，若你未曾背着丈夫做污秽的事，你就能免去这致诅咒的苦水。And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
20但你背着丈夫，玷污自己，跟丈夫以外的人同寝。’But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
21祭司叫妇人赌咒起誓，祭司对她说：‘当耶和华使你大腿萎缩，肚腹肿胀时，愿耶和华使你在你百姓中成为诅咒和咒骂；Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
22愿这致诅咒的水进入你体内，使你肚腹肿胀，大腿萎缩。’妇人要说：‘阿们，阿们。’And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
23“祭司要把这诅咒写在册上，然后用苦水涂去，And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
24又叫妇人喝这致诅咒的苦水，这诅咒的水要进入她里面，令她痛苦。And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
25祭司要从妇人手中取那疑忌的素祭，把素祭在耶和华面前摇一摇，拿到祭坛前；Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
26又要从素祭中取出一把，作为纪念，烧在坛上，然后叫妇人喝这水。And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
27祭司叫她喝了以后，她若玷污自己，确实对丈夫不贞，这致诅咒的水必进入她里面，令她痛苦，她的肚腹就要肿胀起来，大腿萎缩；这妇人就在她百姓中成为诅咒。And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
28这妇人若没有玷污自己，是贞洁的，就要免受这灾，并且能够生育。And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
29“这是疑忌的条例。妻子背离丈夫玷污自己，This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
30或是丈夫生了疑忌的心，对妻子起了疑忌，祭司要使那妇人站在耶和华面前，在她身上照这条例而行。Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
31男人可免罪责；女人必须担当自己的罪孽。”Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
