银号筒
耶和华吩咐摩西说：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2“你要用银子做两枝号筒，把它们锤出来，给你用来召集会众，拔营起行。Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
3吹号的时候，全会众要到你那里，聚集在会幕的门口。And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
4若只吹一枝，众领袖，就是以色列部队的官长，要到你那里聚集。And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.
5你们大声吹号的时候，东边安营的要起行。When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.
6第二次大声吹号的时候，南边安营的要起行。起行的时候，要大声吹号；When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
7但召集会众的时候，你们要吹号，却不要吹出大声。But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
8亚伦子孙作祭司的要吹这号筒，作为你们世世代代永远的定例。And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
9当你们在自己的土地上，与欺压你们的敌人打仗时，要用号筒吹出大声。你们就在耶和华－你们的神面前得蒙记念，也必蒙拯救脱离仇敌。And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
10在快乐的日子，节期和初一，献燔祭与平安祭的时候，你们要吹号筒，在你们的神面前作为纪念。我是耶和华－你们的神。”Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
离开西奈山
11第二年二月二十日，云彩从法柜的帐幕上升。And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
12以色列人离开西奈的旷野，一段一段地往前行，云彩停在巴兰的旷野。And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
13他们遵照耶和华藉摩西所指示的，初次往前行。And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
14按照队伍首先起行的是犹大营旗帜下的人，带队的是亚米拿达的儿子拿顺。In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
15以萨迦支派带队的是苏押的儿子拿坦业。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
16西布伦支派带队的是希伦的儿子以利押。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
17帐幕拆卸了，革顺的子孙和米拉利的子孙就抬着帐幕往前行。And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.
18按照队伍往前行的是吕便营旗帜下的人，带队的是示丢珥的儿子以利蓿。And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
19西缅支派带队的是苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
20迦得支派带队的是丢珥的儿子以利雅萨。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
21哥辖人抬着圣物往前行。他们未到以前，帐幕已经立好了。And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
22按照队伍往前行的是以法莲营旗帜下的人，带队的是亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛。And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
23玛拿西支派带队的是比大蓿的儿子迦玛列。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
24便雅悯支派带队的是基多尼的儿子亚比但。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
25作全营后卫，按队伍往前行的是但营旗帜下的人，带队的是亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢。And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26亚设支派带队的是俄兰的儿子帕结。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
27拿弗他利支派带队的是以南的儿子亚希拉。And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
28以色列人就这样按着队伍往前行。Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
29摩西对他岳父☛“岳父”或译“内兄”。米甸人流珥的儿子何巴说：“我们要往前行，到耶和华所说的地方；他曾说：‘我要将这地赐给你们。’现在请你和我们同去，我们必善待你，因为耶和华已经应许赐福气给以色列人。”And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
30何巴对他说：“我不去，我要回本地本族去。”And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
31摩西说：“请你不要离开我们，因为你知道我们要在旷野安营，你可以当我们的眼目。And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
32你若和我们同去，将来耶和华以什么福气恩待我们，我们也必这样善待你。”And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
约柜和百姓往前行
33以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和华的约柜在前面行了三天的路程，为他们寻找安歇的地方。And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.
34他们拔营往前行，日间有耶和华的云彩在他们上面。And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
35约柜往前行的时候，摩西说： “耶和华啊，求你兴起！ 愿你的仇敌溃散！ 愿恨你的人从你面前逃跑！”And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
36约柜停住的时候，他说： “以色列千万人的耶和华啊，求你回来☛“以色列...回来”或译“耶和华啊，求你回到以色列的千万人中”。！”And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
