神选召以西结作先知
他对我说：“人子啊，你站起来，我要和你说话。”
And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
2他对我说话的时候，灵进入我里面，使我站起来，我就听见他对我说话。And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
3他对我说：“人子啊，我差你往悖逆我的国家，以色列人那里去，他们是悖逆我的。他们和他们的祖先违背我，直到今日。And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
4这些人厚着脸皮，心里刚硬。我差你到他们那里去，你要对他们说：‘主耶和华如此说。’For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
5他们是悖逆之家，他们或听，或不听，必知道在他们中间有了先知。And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
6你，人子啊，虽有荆棘和蒺藜在你那里，你又住在蝎子中间，总不要怕他们，也不要怕他们的话；他们虽是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他们的话，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
7他们或听，或不听，你只管将我的话告诉他们；他们是极其悖逆的。And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
8“但是你，人子啊，要听我对你说的话，不要像那悖逆之家一样悖逆，要开口吃我所赐给你的。”But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
9我观看，看哪，有一只手向我伸来；看哪，手中有一书卷。And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
10他在我面前展开书卷，它内外都写着字，上面所写的有哀号、叹息、悲痛的话。And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
