以色列人的抗命
第七年五月初十，有以色列的几个长老前来求问耶和华，坐在我面前。
And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.
2耶和华的话临到我，说：Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
3“人子啊，你要告诉以色列的长老，对他们说，主耶和华如此说：你们来是为求问我吗？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不让你们求问。Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
4人子啊，你要审问他们吗？你要审问吗？你当使他们知道他们祖先那些可憎的事；Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:
5你要对他们说，主耶和华如此说：当日我拣选以色列，对雅各家的后裔起誓，在埃及地向他们显现，起誓说：我是耶和华─你们的神；And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;
6那日我向他们起誓，要领他们出埃及地，到我为他们所找到的流奶与蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地。In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:
7我对他们说，你们各人要抛弃眼中所喜爱的可憎之物，不可用埃及的偶像玷污自己。我是耶和华─你们的神。Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
8他们却悖逆我，不肯听从我，不抛弃他们眼中所喜爱的可憎之物，离弃埃及的偶像。“我就说，在埃及地，我要把我的愤怒倾倒在他们身上，向他们发尽我的怒气。
But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9我这么做是为了我名的缘故，免得我的名在他们所居住之列国眼中被亵渎；我曾在这些列国眼前向他们显现，领他们出了埃及地。But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
10我领他们出埃及地，带他们到旷野。Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.
11我将我的律例赐给他们，将我的典章指示他们；人若遵行就必因此存活。And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
12我将我的安息日赐给他们，在我与他们中间作记号，让他们知道我─耶和华是使他们分别为圣的。Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
13以色列家却在旷野中悖逆我，不顺从我的律例，厌弃我的典章；人若遵行就必因此存活。他们却大大干犯我的安息日。“因此我说，我要在旷野把我的愤怒倾倒在他们身上，灭绝他们。
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
14我这么做是为了我名的缘故，免得我的名在列国眼中被亵渎，因为在这些列国眼前我领了他们出来。But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.
15并且我在旷野向他们起誓，必不领他们进入我所赐的流奶与蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地；Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;
16因为他们厌弃我的典章，不顺从我的律例，干犯我的安息日，他们的心随从自己的偶像。Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.
17虽然如此，我的眼仍顾惜他们，不毁灭他们，不在旷野把他们灭绝净尽。Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.
18“我在旷野对他们的儿女说：‘不要遵行你们祖先的律例，不要谨守他们的规条，也不要用他们的偶像玷污自己。But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:
19我是耶和华─你们的神，你们要顺从我的律例，谨守遵行我的典章，I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
20且以我的安息日为圣。这日必在我与你们中间作记号，使你们知道我是耶和华─你们的神。’And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
21只是他们的儿女悖逆我，不顺从我的律例，也不谨守遵行我的典章；人若遵行就必因此存活。他们却干犯我的安息日。“因此我说，我要在旷野把我的愤怒倾倒在他们身上，向他们发尽我的怒气。
Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
22但我却缩手而未如此行；我这么做是为了我名的缘故，免得我的名在列国眼中被亵渎，因为在这些列国眼前我领了他们出来。Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.
23并且我在旷野向他们起誓，要把他们驱散到列国，分散在列邦；I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;
24因为他们不遵行我的典章，厌弃我的律例，干犯我的安息日，眼目向着他们祖先的偶像。Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.
25我也任他们遵行那无益的律例，随从那不能使人存活的规条。Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;
26他们使所有头生的经火，我就任凭他们在这供物上玷污自己；我令他们惊恐，他们就知道我是耶和华。And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
27“人子啊，你要告诉以色列家，对他们说，主耶和华如此说：你们的祖先在背叛我的事上再次亵渎了我；Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.
28我领他们到我起誓应许赐给他们的地，他们看见各高冈、各茂密的树，就在那里献祭，献上惹我发怒的供物，也在那里焚烧馨香的祭，献浇酒祭。For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
29我就对他们说：你们去的那丘坛叫什么呢？它名叫巴麻，直到今日。Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.
30所以你要对以色列家说，主耶和华如此说：你们仍要照你们祖先所做的玷污自己吗？还要照他们可憎的事行淫吗？Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?
31当你们献上供物，使你们儿子经火的时候，你们仍用各样的偶像玷污自己，直到今日。以色列家啊，我岂能让你们求问呢？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不让你们求问。For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
32“你们说：‘我们要像列国和列邦的宗族一样，去事奉木头与石头。’你们所起的心意万不能成就。”神的惩罚和赦免
And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.
33“主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我要作王，用大能的手和伸出的膀臂，并倾倒出来的愤怒治理你们。As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
34我必用大能的手和伸出的膀臂，并倾倒出来的愤怒，把你们从万民中领出来，从被赶散到的列邦聚集你们。And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
35我必带你们到万民的旷野，在那里当面审判你们。And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.
36我怎样在埃及地的旷野审判你们的祖先，也必照样审判你们。这是主耶和华说的。Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
37我要使你们从杖下经过，按着约的拘束☛“约的拘束”：七十士译本是“数目”。带领你们。And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
38我必从你们中间除尽叛逆和得罪我的人；我将他们从所寄居的地方领出来，他们却不得进入以色列地，你们就知道我是耶和华。And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
39“你们，以色列家啊，主耶和华如此说：你们若不听从我，从今以后就让各人去事奉他的偶像吧，只是不可再以你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
40“在我的圣山，就是以色列高处的山，以色列全家，那地所有的人，都要在那里事奉我。在那里我悦纳他们，并要你们献供物和初熟的土产，以及一切的圣物。这是主耶和华说的。For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
41我把你们从万民中领出来，从被赶散到的列邦聚集你们，那时我必悦纳你们如同悦纳馨香之祭，我要在列国眼前，在你们中间显为圣。I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.
42我领你们进入以色列地，就是我起誓应许赐给你们列祖之地，那时你们就知道我是耶和华。And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.
43你们在那里要追念那玷污自己的所作所为，又要因所行的一切恶事厌恶自己。And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.
44以色列家啊，我为我名的缘故，没有照着你们的恶行和你们的败坏对待你们；你们就知道我是耶和华。这是主耶和华说的。”尼革夫大火
And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
45耶和华的话临到我，说：Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
46“人子啊，你要面向南方，向南方传讲☛“传讲”：原文是“滴下”；21．2同。，向尼革夫☛“尼革夫”是音译，意思是“旷野干旱的地方”，指“南方之地”；下同。田野的树林说预言。Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;
47你要对尼革夫的树林说，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华如此说：看哪，我要在你那里点火，烧灭你们中间所有的绿树和枯树，猛烈的火焰必不熄灭；从南到北，人的脸都被烧焦。And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
48凡血肉之躯都知道是我─耶和华点了火，这火必不熄灭。”And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.
49于是我说：“唉！主耶和华啊，人都指着我说：他不是说比喻的人吗？”Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
