耶和华使用歌革
耶和华的话临到我，说：
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2“人子啊，你要面向玛各地的歌革，就是米设和土巴的大王，向他说预言。Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3你要说，主耶和华如此说：米设和土巴的大王歌革，看哪，我与你为敌。And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4我要把你掉转过来，用钩子钩住你的腮颊，把你和你的军兵、马匹、骑兵都带走。他们全都披挂整齐，成为大军，佩带大小盾牌，各人拿着刀剑；And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5他们当中有波斯人、古实人和弗人，都带着盾牌和头盔；Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6还有歌篾人和他的军队，北方极远的陀迦玛族和他的军队，这许多民族都跟着你。Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7“你和聚集到你那里的军队都要预备，预备妥当，你要作他们的守卫。Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8过了多日，你必被差派；到末后之年，你要来到那脱离刀剑、从列国召集回来的人所住之地，来到以色列常久荒凉的山上；他们都从列国中被领出，在那里安然居住。After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9你和你的全军，并跟随你的许多民族都要上来，如暴风刮来，如密云遮盖地面。Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10“主耶和华如此说：那时，你的心必起意念，图谋恶计，Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11说：‘我要上那无墙的乡村之地，到那安静的居民那里，他们无墙，无门、无闩，安然居住。And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12我去那里要抢财为掳物，夺货为掠物，反手攻击那从前荒凉、现在有人居住之地，又攻击那从列国招聚出来、得了牲畜财货、住在地的高处的百姓。’To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13示巴人、底但人、他施的商人和他们的少壮狮子都对你说：‘你来是要抢财为掳物吗？你聚集军队是要夺货为掠物，夺取金银，掳去牲畜、财货，抢夺许多财宝为掳物吗？’Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14“人子啊，你要因此说预言，对歌革说，主耶和华如此说：我的子民以色列安然居住时，你是知道的。☛“你是知道的。”七十士译本是“你岂不是要兴起吗？”Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15你从你的地方，从北方极远处率领许多民族前来，他们都骑着马，是一队强而多的军兵。And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16歌革啊，你必上来攻击我的子民以色列，如密云遮盖地面。末后的日子，我必领你来攻击我的地，我藉你在列国眼前显为圣的时候，他们就要认识我。And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17主耶和华如此说：我在古时藉我仆人以色列众先知所说的，不就是你吗？☛“不就是你吗？”七十士译本和其他古译本是“就是你。”他们在那些日子，多年说预言，我必领你来攻击以色列人。”耶和华惩罚歌革
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18“主耶和华说：歌革上来攻击以色列地的时候，我的怒气要从鼻孔里发出。And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19我在妒忌和如火的烈怒中说：那日在以色列地必有大震动，For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20甚至海中的鱼、天空的鸟、野地的兽，和地上爬的各种爬行动物，并地面上的众人，因见我的面就都震动；山岭崩裂，陡岩塌陷，一切的墙都必坍塌。So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21我必令刀剑在我的众山攻击歌革；人要用刀剑杀害弟兄。这是主耶和华说的。And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
22我要用瘟疫和血惩罚他。我也必降暴雨、大冰雹、火及硫磺在他和他的军队，并跟随他的许多民族身上。And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23我必显为大，显为圣，在许多国家眼前显明自己；他们就知道我是耶和华。”Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
