耶和华惩罚埃及
耶和华的话临到我，说：
The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，主耶和华如此说： 哀哉这日！你们应当哭号，Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
3因为日子近了， 耶和华的日子临近了； 那是密云之日， 是列国受罚☛原文没有“受罚”。之期。For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
4必有刀剑临到埃及； 被杀的人仆倒在埃及时， 古实人颤惊不已。 埃及的财富遭掳掠， 根基被拆毁。And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
5古实人、弗人、路德人、混居的各族和古伯人，以及盟国的人都要与埃及人一同倒在刀下。Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
6“耶和华如此说： 扶助埃及的必倾倒， 埃及骄傲的权势必降为卑， 从密夺到色弗尼，人必倒在刀下。 这是主耶和华说的。Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
7埃及成为荒凉中最荒凉的国， 它的城镇变为荒废中最荒废的城镇。And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
8我在埃及放火， 帮助埃及的，都遭灭绝； 那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
9“到那日，必有使者从我面前乘船出去，使安逸无虑的古实人惊惧；当埃及遭难的日子，痛苦也必临到他们。看哪，这事临近了！In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
10“主耶和华如此说： 我要藉巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手 除灭埃及的军队。Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
11他和随从他的人， 就是列国中凶暴的人， 要前来毁灭这地， 拔刀攻击埃及， 使遍地布满被杀的人。He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
12我要使江河干涸， 将这地卖在恶人手中； 我要藉外国人的手， 使这地和其中所充满的变为荒芜； 这是我─耶和华说的。And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
13“主耶和华如此说： 我要毁灭偶像， 从挪弗☛“挪弗”就是埃及的孟斐斯；下同。除掉神像； 不再有君王出自埃及地， 我要使埃及地的人惧怕。Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
14我必令巴特罗荒凉， 在琐安放火， 向挪☛“挪”就是埃及的底比斯；下同。施行审判。And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
15我要将我的愤怒倾倒在训， 埃及的堡垒上， 要剪除挪的众民。And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
16我必在埃及放火， 训必大大痛苦， 挪被攻破， 挪弗终日遭敌侵袭。And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
17亚文和比．伯实的年轻人必倒在刀下， 这些城镇将被掳掠。The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
18我在答比匿折断埃及的轭☛“轭”：有古卷和七十士译本是“权杖”。， 使它骄傲的权势止息。 那时，日光必退去； 至于这城，必有密云遮蔽， 邻近的城镇☛“邻近的城镇”：原文直译“其中的众女子”。也遭掳掠。At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
19我要如此向埃及施行审判， 他们就知道我是耶和华。”埃及王的崩溃
Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
20第十一年正月初七，耶和华的话临到我，说：And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
21“人子啊，我已折断埃及王法老的一只膀臂；看哪，无人为他敷药，也无人为他包扎绷带，使他有力持刀。Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
22因此，主耶和华如此说：看哪，我与埃及王法老为敌，要折断他的膀臂，折断强壮的和已受伤的，使刀从他手中掉落。Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
23我必将埃及人分散到列国，四散在列邦。And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
24我要使巴比伦王的膀臂有力，把我的刀交在他手中；却要折断法老的膀臂，使他在巴比伦王面前呻吟，如同被杀的人一样。And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
25我要使巴比伦王的膀臂强壮，法老的膀臂却要下垂；当我把我的刀交在巴比伦王手中时，他要举刀攻击埃及地，他们就知道我是耶和华。But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
26我必将埃及人分散到列国，四散在列邦；他们就知道我是耶和华。”And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
