耶和华的刀
耶和华的话临到我，说：
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2“人子啊，把你的脸正对着耶路撒冷，对着圣所☛“圣所”：有古卷和七十士译本是“他们的圣所”；原文另译“她的圣所”。传讲 ，向以色列地说预言。Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
3你要向以色列地说，耶和华如此说：看哪，我与你为敌，拔刀出鞘，把义人和恶人从你中间剪除。And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
4因为我要剪除你当中的义人和恶人，所以我的刀要出鞘，从南到北攻击所有的血肉之躯；Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5凡血肉之躯都知道我─耶和华已拔刀出鞘，刀必不再入鞘。That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
6你，人子啊，要叹息，在他们眼前断了腰，愁苦地叹息。Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
7若有人对你说：‘你为什么叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声传来，人心惶惶，双手发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，它临近了，一定会发生。’这是主耶和华说的。”And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
8耶和华的话临到我，说：Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说： 有刀，刀已磨快， 又擦亮了；Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:
10磨快为要大大杀戮， 擦亮为要像闪电。 我们岂能快乐呢？☛“我们岂能快乐呢？”原文另译“啊！它在炫耀。” 它藐视我儿的权杖和一切的木头☛“它藐视...木头”或译“我儿的权杖藐视一切的木头”。。It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.
11它已经交给人擦亮，可以掌握使用；这刀已经磨快擦亮，好交在行杀戮的人手中。And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12人子啊，你要呼喊哀号，因为这刀将临到我的百姓，临到以色列所有的领袖身上。他们和我的百姓都要交在刀下，所以你要捶胸☛“捶胸”：原文直译“拍腿”，表示苦恼和悲伤。。Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.
13因为这是一个考验，若它藐视权杖，也不算一回事，又怎么样呢？这是主耶和华说的。”Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
14“人子啊，你要拍掌预言，使这刀三番两次临到；这是致人死伤的刀，就是包围人，使人大受死伤的刀。Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.
15我设立这恐吓☛“恐吓”：七十士译本是“屠宰”。的刀，攻击他们一切的城门，为要使他们的心惊慌害怕，许多人因而跌倒。唉！它☛“它”：原文另译“这恐吓的刀”。造得像闪电，磨得尖利☛“磨得尖利”：原文是“收入鞘内”。，要行杀戮。I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
16刀啊，要行动一致☛“要行动一致”：七十士译本是“要把自己磨得尖利”。，向右边，或指向左边；面向哪方，就向哪方。Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
17我也要拍掌，使我的愤怒平息。这是我─耶和华说的。”巴比伦王的刀
I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
18耶和华的话临到我，说：The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
19“人子啊，你要画定两条路线，使巴比伦王的刀过来，这两条路必从同一地分出来；要在通往城里的路口画手作指标。Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
20你要划定一条路，使刀来到亚扪人的拉巴，来到犹大，在坚固城耶路撒冷。Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.
21因为巴比伦王站在岔路上，在两条路口占卜。他摇签☛“签”：原文是“箭”。求问神像，察看肝脏；For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.
22右手是耶路撒冷的占卜，以便安设撞城槌，张口喊杀☛“喊杀”：七十士译本是“大喊”。，扬声呼叫，建土堆，筑堡垒，以撞城槌攻打城门。At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
23在那些曾郑重起誓的犹大人眼中，这是虚假的占卜；但巴比伦王要使他们想起自己的罪孽，以便俘掳他们。”And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
24于是，主耶和华如此说：“因你们的过犯显露，你们的罪孽被记得，以致你们的罪恶在你们一切的行为上都彰显出来；你们既被记得，就被掳在掌中。Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
25你这亵渎行恶的以色列王啊，你的日子，最后惩罚的时刻已来临。And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,
26主耶和华如此说：当除掉荣冕，摘下华冠，景况已不复从前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，再倾覆；这国必不存在，直等到那应得的人来到，我就将国赐给他。”刀和亚扪人
I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
28“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，主耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀，拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为了行杀戮；它亮如闪电以行吞灭。And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:
29他们为你见虚假的异象，行谎诈的占卜，使你倒在亵渎之恶人的颈项上；他们的日子，最后惩罚的时刻已来临。Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.
30你收刀入鞘吧！我要在你受造之处、生长之地惩罚你。Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
31我要把我的愤怒倾倒在你身上，把我烈怒的火喷在你身上；又将你交在善于杀灭、畜牲一般的人手中。And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.
32你要成为火中之柴，你的血必在地里；你必不再被记得，因为这是我─耶和华说的。”Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
