斥责埃及
第十年十月十二日，耶和华的话临到我，说：
In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2“人子啊，你要面向埃及王法老，向他和埃及全地说预言。Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
3你要说，主耶和华如此说： 埃及王法老， 你这卧在自己江河中的海怪， 看哪，我与你为敌。 你曾说：‘我的尼罗河是我的， 是我为自己造的。’Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
4我必用钩子钩住你的腮颊， 令江河中的鱼贴住你的鳞甲； 我要把你和所有贴着鳞甲的鱼 从你的江河中拉上来。But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
5我要把你和江河中的鱼全都抛弃在旷野； 你必仆倒在田间， 无人收殓，无人掩埋。 我已将你给了地上的走兽、空中的飞鸟作食物。And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
6“埃及所有的居民必定知道我是耶和华。因为你已成为以色列家芦苇的杖；And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7他们用手掌一握，你就断裂，伤了他们的肩；他们靠着你，你却折断，闪了他们的腰☛“闪了他们的腰”是根据七十士译本和其他古译本；原文是“稳住他们的腰”。。When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
8所以主耶和华如此说：我必使刀剑临到你，把人与牲畜从你中间剪除。Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
9埃及地必荒芜废弃，他们就知道我是耶和华。“因为法老说‘尼罗河是我的，是我所造的’，
And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.
10所以，看哪，我必与你和你的江河为敌，使埃及地，从密夺到色弗尼，直到古实☛“古实”包括苏丹的大部分和埃塞俄比亚的一部分。边界，全然废弃荒芜。Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
11人的脚不经过，兽的蹄也不经过，四十年之久无人居住。No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
12我要使埃及地成为荒芜中最荒芜的地，使它的城镇变为荒废中最荒废的城镇，共四十年之久。我必将埃及人分散到列国，四散在列邦。And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
13“主耶和华如此说：满了四十年后，我必招聚分散在万民中的埃及人。Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
14我要令埃及被掳的人归回，使他们回到本地巴特罗。在那里，他们必成为弱小的国家，And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
15成为列国中最低微的，不再自高于列邦之上。我必使他们变为小国，不再辖制列邦。It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
16埃及必不再作以色列家的倚靠，却使以色列家想起他们仰赖埃及的罪。他们就知道我是主耶和华。”尼布甲尼撒将征服埃及
And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
17第二十七年正月初一，耶和华的话临到我，说：And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
18“人子啊，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒令他的军兵大力攻打推罗，以致头都光秃，肩都磨破；然而他和军兵虽然为攻打推罗花这么多力气，却没有从那里得到什么犒赏。Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
19所以主耶和华如此说：我要将埃及地赐给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他必掳掠埃及的财富，抢夺它的掳物，掳掠它的掠物，用以犒赏他的军兵。Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
20我将埃及地赐给他，犒赏他，因他们为我效劳。这是主耶和华说的。I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
21“当那日，我必使以色列家壮大☛“壮大”：原文是“角长出来”。，又必使你─以西结在他们中间开口；他们就知道我是耶和华。”In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
