谴责拜偶像的罪
耶和华的话临到我，说：
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2“人子啊，你要面向以色列的众山说预言。Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3你要说：以色列的众山哪，要听主耶和华的话。主耶和华对大山、小冈、水沟、山谷如此说：看哪，我要使刀剑临到你们，也必毁坏你们的丘坛。And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4你们的祭坛要荒废，香坛必打碎。我要使你们当中被杀的人仆倒在你们的偶像面前，And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5将以色列人的尸首放在他们的偶像面前，把你们的骸骨抛散在祭坛的四周围。And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6无论你们住在何处，城镇要变为废墟，丘坛也必毁坏，以至于你们的祭坛荒废，被定罪☛“被定罪”：有古译本是“毁坏”。，偶像打碎消除，香坛砍倒；你们所做的被涂去。In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7被杀的人必仆倒在你们中间，你们就知道我是耶和华。And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
8“我必留下一些人，你们中有人得以在列国中脱离刀剑，分散在列邦。Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
9那些逃脱的人，必在被掳所到的各国中记得我，我心里何等伤痛，因他们起淫心，离弃我，淫荡的眼追随偶像。他们因所做一切可憎的恶事，必厌恶自己。And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10他们必知道我是耶和华；我说过要使这灾祸临到他们身上，并非空话。And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
11“主耶和华如此说：你当击掌顿足，说：哀哉！以色列家做了这一切可憎的恶事，必仆倒在刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫之下。Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12在远方的，必遭瘟疫而死；在近处的，必倒在刀剑之下；那存留被围困的，必因饥荒而死；我要在他们身上发尽我的愤怒。He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
13被杀的要仆倒在祭坛四围的偶像中，在各高冈、各山顶、各青翠的树下，和各茂密的橡树下，就是他们献馨香的祭给一切偶像的地方。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
14我必伸手攻击他们，使他们的地荒废，从第伯拉他的旷野起☛“从第伯拉他的旷野起”：有古卷是“从旷野到利比拉”。，一切的住处都荒凉。他们就知道我是耶和华。”So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
