雅各带家属到埃及
以色列带着一切所有的，起程到别是巴去，献祭给他父亲以撒的神。
And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
2夜间，神在异象中对以色列说：“雅各！雅各！”他说：“我在这里。”And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
3神说：“我是神，你父亲的神。不要害怕下埃及去，因为我必使你在那里成为大国。And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
4我要和你同下埃及去，也必定带你上来；约瑟要亲手合上你的眼睛。”I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
5雅各就从别是巴起行。以色列的儿子让他们的父亲雅各和他们的孩子、妻子都坐在法老为雅各派来的车上。And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
6他们也带着迦南地所得的牲畜和财物来到埃及。雅各和他所有的子孙都一同来了。And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:
7他把他的儿子、孙子、女儿、孙女，他所有的子孙一同带到埃及。His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
8这些是来到埃及的以色列人，雅各和他子孙的名字：雅各的长子是吕便。And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.
9吕便的儿子是哈诺、法路、希斯伦、迦米。And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
10西缅的儿子是耶母利、雅悯、阿辖、雅斤、琐辖，还有迦南女子生的儿子扫罗。And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
11利未的儿子是革顺、哥辖、米拉利。And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
12犹大的儿子是珥、俄南、示拉、法勒斯、谢拉；珥与俄南死在迦南地。法勒斯的儿子是希斯仑、哈母勒。And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zarah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.
13以萨迦的儿子是陀拉、普瓦、约伯、伸仑。And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
14西布伦的儿子是西烈、以伦、雅利。And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
15这是利亚在巴旦．亚兰为雅各所生的儿孙，还有女儿底拿，儿孙共三十三人。These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
16迦得的儿子是洗非芸、哈基、书尼、以斯本、以利、亚罗底、亚列利。And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
17亚设的儿子是音拿、亦施瓦、亦施韦、比利亚，还有他们的妹妹西拉。比利亚的儿子是希别、玛结。And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.
18这是拉班给他女儿利亚的婢女悉帕的儿孙，她为雅各所生的共有十六人。These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.
19雅各之妻拉结的儿子是约瑟和便雅悯。The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.
20约瑟在埃及地生了玛拿西和以法莲，是安城的祭司波提非拉的女儿亚西纳为约瑟生的。And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.
21便雅悯的儿子是比拉、比结、亚实别、基拉、乃幔、以希、罗实、母平、户平、亚勒。And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
22这是拉结为雅各所生的儿孙，共有十四人。These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.
23但的儿子是户伸。And the sons of Dan; Hushim.
24拿弗他利的儿子是雅薛、沽尼、耶色、示冷。And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
25这是拉班给他女儿拉结的婢女辟拉的儿孙，她为雅各所生的共有七人。These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.
26那与雅各同到埃及的，除了他媳妇之外，凡从他生的共有六十六人。All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six;
27还有约瑟在埃及所生的两个儿子。到埃及的雅各全家共有七十人。And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.
雅各和家属在歌珊
28雅各派犹大先到约瑟那里，请他先指示到歌珊去的路；于是他们来到了歌珊地。And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
29约瑟备好座车，上歌珊去迎接他的父亲以色列。他见到父亲，就伏在父亲的颈项上，在父亲的颈项上哭了许久。And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
30以色列对约瑟说：“我见了你的面，知道你还活着，现在我可以死了。”And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.
31约瑟对他兄弟和他父亲的全家说：“我要上去告诉法老，对他说：‘我在迦南地的兄弟和我父亲的全家，都到我这里来了。And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
32他们是牧羊人，是牧放牲畜的人；他们把羊群牛群和一切所有的都带来了。’And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
33等到法老召见你们，说：‘你们是做什么的？’And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?
34你们就说：‘你的仆人，从幼年直到现在，都是牧放牲畜的人，我们和我们的祖宗都是这样。’如此，你们就可以住在歌珊地，因为凡牧羊的都被埃及人厌恶。”That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
