耶路撒冷的罪
你们要走遍耶路撒冷的街市， 在广场寻找， 看是否有人行公平、求诚实； 若有，我就赦免这城。Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.
2虽然他们说“我对永生的耶和华发誓”， 所起的誓实在是假的。And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.
3耶和华啊，你的眼目不是在寻找诚实吗？ 你击打他们，他们却不伤恸； 你摧毁他们，他们仍不领受管教。 他们使脸刚硬过于磐石， 不肯回头。O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
4我说：“这些人实在是贫寒的， 他们是愚昧的， 因为不知道耶和华的作为， 也不知道他们神的法则。Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
5我要去见尊贵的人，向他们说话， 他们应该知道耶和华的作为， 知道他们神的法则。” 然而，这些人却齐心将轭折断， 挣开绳索。I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.
6因此，林中的狮子必害死他们， 野地的狼必灭绝他们， 豹子在城外窥伺。 凡出城的必被撕碎， 因为他们的罪过极多， 背道的事也增加。Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
7我怎能赦免你呢？ 你的儿女离弃我， 又指着那不是神的起誓。 我使他们饱足， 他们就行奸淫， 居住☛“居住”是根据七十士译本；原文是“割划自己”；另有古译本是“成群聚集”。在娼妓家里。How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.
8他们如喂饱的马，精力旺盛， 各向邻舍的妻子吹哨。They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.
9我岂不因这些事施行惩罚吗？ 像这样的国家，我岂能不报复呢？ 这是耶和华说的。Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
10你们要上去毁坏它的葡萄园， 但不可毁坏净尽， 只可除掉其枝子， 因为不属耶和华。Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's.
11以色列家和犹大家向我大行诡诈。 这是耶和华说的。耶和华丢弃以色列
For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.
12关乎耶和华他们说了虚谎的话： “他不会的， 灾祸必不临到我们， 我们也不会遇见刀剑和饥荒。They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
13先知不过是一阵风， 道也不在他们里面； 这灾祸必临到他们身上。”And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
14所以耶和华－万军之神如此说： “因为他们说这话， 看哪，我必使我的话在你口中为火， 使这百姓为柴， 火便将他们烧灭。Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
15以色列家啊， 看哪，我必使一国从远方来攻击你， 是强盛的国， 是古老的国； 他们的言语你不知道， 所说的话你不明白。 这是耶和华说的。Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
16他们的箭袋有如敞开的坟墓， 他们全都是勇士。Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.
17他们必吃尽你的庄稼和粮食， 是你儿女该吃的☛“是你儿女该吃的”：七十士译本是“吃尽你的儿女”。； 必吃尽你的牛羊， 吃尽你的葡萄和无花果； 又必用刀剑毁坏你所倚靠的坚固城。And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
18“就是在那些日子，我也不会将你们毁灭净尽。这是耶和华说的。Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.
19百姓若说：‘耶和华－我们的神为什么向我们行这一切事呢？’你就对他们说：‘你们怎样离弃我，在你们的地上事奉外邦神明，也必照样在不属你们的地上事奉外族人。’”神警告他的子民
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
20当在雅各家传扬， 在犹大宣告，说：Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
21“愚昧无知的百姓啊， 你们有眼不看， 有耳不听， 现在当听这话。Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
22你们难道不惧怕我吗？ 在我面前还不战兢吗？ 这是耶和华说的。 我以沙为海的界限， 作永远的条例，使它不得越过。 波浪汹涌，却不能胜过； 怒涛澎湃，仍无法越过。Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
23但这百姓有背叛忤逆的心， 他们转离而去。But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.
24他们心里并不说： ‘我们应当敬畏耶和华－我们的神； 他按时赐雨，就是秋雨和春雨， 又为我们定收割的季节。’Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
25你们的罪孽使这些转离你们， 你们的罪恶使你们不能得福。Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
26在我百姓当中有恶人， 他们埋伏，好像捕鸟的人在窥探☛“他们...在窥探”：原文另译“他们设罗网，像捕鸟人的网”。； 他们设罗网陷害人。For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
27笼子怎样装满雀鸟， 他们的屋里也照样充满诡诈； 他们因此得以强大富足。As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
28他们肥胖光润，作恶过甚， 不为人伸冤， 不为孤儿伸冤，使他们胜诉， 也不为贫穷人辩护。They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
29我岂不因这些事施行惩罚吗？ 像这样的国家，我岂能不报复呢？ 这是耶和华说的。Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
30“国中有令人惊骇、 恐怖的事发生，A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
31就是先知说假预言， 祭司把权柄抓在自己手上， 我的百姓也喜爱这样， 到了结局你们要怎么办呢？”The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
