耶利米跟巴施户珥的冲突
音麦的儿子巴施户珥祭司作耶和华殿的总管，听见耶利米预言这些事，
Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
2就打耶利米先知，用耶和华殿里上便雅悯门内的枷锁，把他锁在那里。Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.
3次日，巴施户珥开枷释放耶利米。于是耶利米对他说：“耶和华不叫你的名为巴施户珥，而叫你玛歌珥．米撒毕☛“玛歌珥．米撒毕”意思是“四面惊吓”。，And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.
4因耶和华如此说：‘看哪，我要使你和你的众朋友惊吓；你们要亲眼看见他们倒在仇敌的刀下。我必将犹大人全都交在巴比伦王的手中，他要把他们掳到巴比伦去，用刀杀他们。For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
5我要将这城中一切的货财和劳碌得来的，并一切的珍宝，以及犹大君王所有的宝物，都交在仇敌手中。仇敌要抢夺他们，抓住他们，把他们带到巴比伦去。Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
6你，巴施户珥，和所有住在你家中的人都必被掳；你和你的朋友，就是你向他们说假预言的，都要到巴比伦去，死在那里，葬在那里。’”耶利米埋怨耶和华
And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.
7耶和华啊，你欺哄了我， 我也被你欺哄了。 你比我强，并且得胜。 我终日成为笑柄， 人人都戏弄我。O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
8我每逢讲话的时候，就哀叹， 我喊叫：“有暴力和毁灭！” 因为耶和华的话终日成了我的凌辱和讥刺。For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.
9我若说：“我不再提耶和华， 也不再奉他的名讲论”， 我心里便觉得 似乎有烧着的火闷在我骨中， 我忍受不住，不能自禁。Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
10我听见许多的毁谤， 四围都是惊吓； 连我知己朋友都看着我跌倒： “告他吧，我们要告他！ 或者他被引诱， 我们就能胜他， 在他身上报仇。”For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
11然而，耶和华与我同在， 好像可怕的勇士。 因此，迫害我的都绊跌， 不能得胜； 他们大大蒙羞， 由于行事没有智慧， 必永远受那不能忘怀的羞辱。But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.
12考验义人、察看人肺腑心肠的万军之耶和华啊， 求你使我得见你在他们身上报仇， 因我已将我的案件向你禀明了。But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.
13你们要向耶和华唱歌！ 要赞美耶和华！ 因他救了穷人的性命 脱离恶人的手。Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.
14愿我出生的那日受诅咒！ 愿我母亲生我的那天不蒙福！Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.
15报信给我父亲说 “你得了儿子”， 使我父亲甚欢喜的， 愿那人受诅咒。Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.
16愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不怜惜的城镇； 愿他早晨听见哀声， 中午听见呐喊；And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;
17因他没有在我未出胎就把我杀了， 以致我母亲成为我的坟墓， 她却一直怀着胎☛“她却一直怀着胎”：七十士译本是“胎儿就不断长大”。。Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.
18我为何出胎见劳碌愁苦， 在羞愧中度尽我的年日呢？Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
