耶路撒冷的混乱
看哪，主－万军之耶和华要从耶路撒冷和犹大 除掉众人所倚靠的，所仰赖的， 就是所倚靠的粮，所仰赖的水；For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.
2除掉勇士和战士， 审判官和先知， 占卜的和长老，The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
3除掉五十夫长和显要、 谋士和巧匠， 以及擅长法术的人。The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
4我必使孩童作他们的领袖， 幼儿管辖他们。And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
5百姓要彼此欺压， 各人欺压邻舍； 青年要侮慢老人， 卑贱的要侮慢尊贵的。And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
6人在父家拉住自己的兄弟： “你有外衣，来作我们的官长， 让这些败坏的事归于你的手下吧！”When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
7那时，他必扬声说： “我不作医治你们的人； 我家里没有粮食，也没有衣服， 你们不可立我作百姓的官长。”In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
8耶路撒冷败落， 犹大倾倒； 因为他们的舌头和行为与耶和华相悖， 无视于他荣光的眼目。For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
9他们的脸色证明自己不正， 他们述说自己像所多玛一样的罪恶，毫不隐瞒。 他们有祸了！因为作恶自害。The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
10你们要对义人说，他是有福的， 因为他必吃自己行为所结的果实。Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11恶人有祸了！他必遭灾难！ 因为他要按自己手所做的受报应。Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
12至于我的百姓， 统治者剥削你们， 放高利贷的人管辖你们☛“统治者...管辖你们”是根据七十士译本；原文是“孩童欺压他们，妇女管辖他们”。。 我的百姓啊，引导你的使你走错， 并毁坏你所行的道路。耶和华审判他的子民
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
13耶和华兴起诉讼， 站着审判万民。The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
14耶和华必审问他国中的长老和领袖： “你们，你们摧毁葡萄园， 抢夺困苦人，囤积在你们家中。The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
15你们为何压碎我的百姓， 碾磨困苦人的脸呢？” 这是万军之主耶和华说的。对耶路撒冷的警告
What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
16耶和华说： 因为锡安☛“锡安”：原文直译“锡安女子”；17节同。狂傲， 行走挺项，卖弄眼目， 俏步徐行，脚下玎珰，Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
17主必使锡安头顶长疮， 耶和华又暴露其下体。Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
18到那日，主必除掉华美的足饰、额带、月牙圈、In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
19耳环、手镯、面纱、The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
20头巾、足链、华带、香盒、符囊、The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
21戒指、鼻环、The rings, and nose jewels,
22礼服、外套、披肩、皮包、The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
23手镜、细麻衣、头饰、纱巾。The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
24必有腐烂代替馨香， 绳子代替腰带， 光秃代替美发， 麻衣系腰代替华服， 烙痕代替美貌。And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
25你的男丁必倒在刀下， 你的勇士必死在阵上。Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
26锡安的城门必悲伤、哀号； 它必荒凉，坐在地上。And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
