以色列拜偶像被定罪
义人死亡， 无人放在心上； 虔诚的人被接去， 无人理解； 义人被接去，以免祸患。The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
2行为正直的人进入平安， 得以在床上安歇☛“在床上安歇”或译“在坟里安息”。。He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
3到这里来吧！ 你们这些巫婆的儿子， 奸夫和妓女的后代；But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
4你们向谁戏笑？ 向谁张口吐舌呢？ 你们岂不是叛逆所生的儿女， 虚谎所生的后代吗？Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
5你们在橡树☛“橡树”或译“神像”。中间，在各青翠的树下欲火攻心； 在山谷间，在岩隙下杀了儿女；Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
6去拜谷中光滑的石头有你们的份， 这些就是你们的命运。 你向它们献浇酒祭，献供物， 这事我岂能容忍吗？Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
7你在高而又高的山上安设床铺， 上那里去献祭。Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
8你在门后，在门框后， 立起你的牌来； 你离弃了我，赤露己身， 又爬上自己所铺宽阔的床铺， 与它们立约； 你喜爱它们的床，看着它们的赤体☛“赤体”：原文是“手”。。Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
9你带了油到摩洛☛“摩洛”或译“王”。那里， 加上许多香水。 你派遣使者往远方去， 甚至降到阴间，And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.
10因路途遥远，你就疲倦， 却不说，这是枉然， 以为能找到复兴之力， 所以不觉疲惫。Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
11你怕谁，因谁恐惧， 竟说谎，不记得我， 不将这事放在心上。 是否因我许久闭口不言， 你就不怕我了呢？And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
12我可以宣告你的公义和你的作为， 但它们与你无益。I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
13你哀求的时候， 让你所搜集的神像☛原文没有“神像”。拯救你吧！ 风要把它们全都刮散， 吹一口气就都吹走。 但那投靠我的必得地产， 承受我的圣山为业。神应许帮助和医治
When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
14耶和华说： “你们要修筑，修筑，要预备道路， 除掉我百姓路中的绊脚石。”And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
15那至高无上、永远长存、 名为圣者的如此说： “我住在至高至圣的所在， 却与心灵痛悔的谦卑人同住； 要使谦卑的人心灵苏醒， 使痛悔的人内心复苏。For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16我必不长久控诉，也不永远怀怒， 因为我虽使灵性发昏，我也造了人的气息。For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17我因人贪婪的罪孽，发怒击打他； 我转脸向他发怒， 他却仍随意背道而行。For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18我看见他的行为， 要医治他，引导他☛“引导他”：七十士译本是“安慰他”。， 使他和与他一同哀伤的人都得安慰。I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19我要医治他， 他要结出嘴唇的果实。 平安，平安，归给远处和近处的人！ 这是耶和华说的。”I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
20但是恶人好像翻腾的海， 不得平静； 其中的水常涌出污秽和淤泥。But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21我的神说：“恶人必不得平安！”There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
