Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
2我来的时候，为何没有人呢？ 我呼唤的时候，为何无人回应呢？ 我的膀臂岂是过短、不能救赎吗？ 我岂无拯救之力吗？ 看哪，我一斥责，海就干了； 我使江河变为旷野， 其中的鱼因无水腥臭，干渴而死。Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
3我使诸天以黑暗为衣， 以麻布为遮盖。”耶和华仆人的顺服
I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
4主耶和华赐我受教者的舌头， 使我知道怎样用言语扶助疲乏的人。 主每天早晨唤醒，唤醒我的耳朵， 使我能听，像受教者一样。The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
5主耶和华开启我的耳朵， 我并未违背，也未退后。The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6人打我的背，我任他打； 人拔我两颊的胡须，我由他拔； 人侮辱我，向我吐唾沫，我并不掩面。I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7主耶和华必帮助我， 所以我不抱愧。 我硬着脸面好像坚石， 也知道我必不致蒙羞。For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8称我为义的与我相近； 谁与我争论， 让我们来对质； 谁与我作对， 让他近前来吧！He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
9看哪，主耶和华必帮助我， 谁能定我有罪呢？ 看哪，他们都要像衣服渐渐破旧， 被蛀虫蛀光。Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
10你们当中有谁是敬畏耶和华， 听从他仆人的话语， 却行在黑暗中，没有亮光的， 当倚靠耶和华的名， 仰赖自己的神。Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
11看哪，你们当中所有点火、以火把围绕自己的人， 当行走在你们的火焰☛“火焰”：七十士译本和其他古译本是“火光”。里， 并你们所点的火把中。 这是我亲手为你们定的： 你们必躺卧在悲惨之中。Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
