The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
2耶和华说：“我曾爱你们。”你们却说：“你在何事上爱我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？我却爱雅各，I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
3恶以扫，使他的山岭荒凉，把他的地业交给旷野的野狗。”And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
4以东若说：“我们虽被毁坏，却要重建荒废之处。”万军之耶和华如此说：“任他们建造，我必拆毁；人必称他们为‘邪恶之境’，为‘耶和华永远恼怒之民’。”Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
5你们必亲眼看见，你们要说：“耶和华在以色列疆界之外必尊为大！”斥责祭司
And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
6万军之耶和华对你们说：“儿子孝敬父亲，仆人敬畏主人；我既为父亲，孝敬我的在哪里呢？我既为主人，敬畏我的在哪里呢？你们这些藐视我名的祭司啊！”你们却说：“我们在何事上藐视你的名呢？”A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
7“你们将不洁净的食物献在我的祭坛上，却说：‘我们在何事上使你不洁净呢？’你们说，耶和华的供桌是可藐视的。Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
8你们将瞎眼的献为祭物，这不算为恶吗？将瘸腿的、有病的献上，这不算为恶吗？那么，请把这些献给你的省长，他岂会悦纳你☛“你”：七十士译本是“它”。，岂会抬举你呢？这是万军之耶和华说的。”And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
9现在我劝你们要恳求神，好让他施恩给我们。这事既出于你们的手，他岂会抬举你们任何人呢？这是万军之耶和华说的。And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
10万军之耶和华说：“甚愿你们中间有人把殿的门☛“殿的门”：原文是“门”。关上，免得你们徒然在我坛上烧火。我不喜欢你们，也不从你们手中悦纳供物。”Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
11万军之耶和华说：“从日出之地到日落之处，我的名在列国中必尊为大。在各处，人必奉我的名烧香，献洁净的供物，因为我的名在列国中必尊为大。For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
12你们却亵渎我的名，说：‘主的供桌是不洁净的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐视的。’But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
13你们又说：‘看哪，这些事何等烦琐！’并嗤之以鼻☛“嗤之以鼻”：原文另译“瞧不起我”。。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们把抢来的、瘸腿的、有病的拿来献上为祭，我岂能从你们手中悦纳它呢？这是耶和华说的。Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
14行诡诈的人是可诅咒的！他的群畜中虽有公羊，他许了愿，却将有残疾的献给主。因我是大君王，我的名在列国中是可畏的。这是万军之耶和华说的。”But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
现在，众祭司啊，这诫命是给你们的。
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
2万军之耶和华说：“你们若不听，若不放在心上，将荣耀归给我的名，我就使诅咒临到你们，使你们的福分变为诅咒；其实我已经诅咒了你们的福分，因你们不把诫命放在心上。If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
3看哪，我要斥责你们的后裔，把粪抹在你们脸上，就是你们祭牲☛“祭牲”：原文是“节期”。的粪。人要把你们和粪一起抬出去，Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
4你们就知道我颁这诫命给你们，使我与利未所立的约可以常存。这是万军之耶和华说的。And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
5我曾与他立生命和平安的约。我将这两样赐给他，使他存敬畏的心；他就敬畏我，惧怕我的名。My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
6真实的训诲在他口中，他的嘴唇中没有不义。他以平安和正直与我同行，使许多人回转离开罪孽。The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
7祭司的嘴唇当守护知识，人也当从他口中寻求训诲，因为他是万军之耶和华的使者。For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
8你们却偏离正道，使许多人在这训诲上绊跌。你们破坏了我与利未人所立的约。这是万军之耶和华说的。But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
9所以我使你们被众百姓藐视，看为卑贱；因你们不遵守我的道，在律法上看人的情面☛“在律法上看人的情面”或译“你们的训诲没有使人得福”。。”百姓对神不忠
Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
10我们岂不都有一位父吗？岂不是一位神创造了我们吗？为何互相行诡诈，亵渎了神与我们列祖所立的约呢？Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
11犹大行事诡诈，在以色列和耶路撒冷中行了可憎的事；因为犹大亵渎耶和华所喜爱的圣殿，娶外邦神明的女子为妻。Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
12凡做这事的，无论是清醒的☛“清醒的”或译“看守的”。或回应的，即使献供物给万军之耶和华，耶和华也要将他从雅各的帐棚中剪除。The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.
13你们又再做这样的事，使哭泣和叹息的眼泪遮盖耶和华的祭坛，以致耶和华不再理会那供物，也不喜欢从你们的手中收纳。And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
14你们还说：“这是为什么呢？”因为耶和华在你和你年轻时所娶的妻之间作证。她虽是你的配偶，你誓约☛“誓约”与“配偶”的希伯来话发音相近。的妻，你却背弃她。Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
15一个人如果还剩下一点灵性，他不会这么做。这人在寻找什么呢？神的后裔！☛“一个人...后裔！”或译“神有灵的余力，不是只能单造一人。为何只造一人呢？乃是愿人得神的子孙。”当谨守你们的灵性，谁也不可背弃年轻时所娶的妻。And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
16耶和华－以色列的神说：“我恨恶休妻的事和衣服外面披上暴力的人。所以当谨守你们的心，不可行诡诈。这是万军之耶和华说的。”审判之日已近
For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
17你们用言语使耶和华厌烦，却说：“我们在何事上使他厌烦呢？”因为你们说：“凡行恶的，耶和华看为善，并且喜爱他们；”又说：“公平的神在哪里呢？”Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
万军之耶和华说：“看哪，我要差遣我的使者在我前面预备道路。你们所寻求的主必忽然来到他的殿；立约的使者，就是你们所仰慕的，看哪，快要来到。”
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
2他来的日子，谁能当得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？因为他如炼金匠的火，如漂洗者的碱。But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3他必坐下如炼净银子的人，必洁净利未人，熬炼他们像金银一样；他们就凭公义献供物给耶和华。And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
4那时，犹大和耶路撒冷所献的供物必蒙耶和华悦纳，仿佛古时之日、上古之年。Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、剥削雇工工钱的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。”十一奉献
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
6“我－耶和华是不改变的；所以，雅各的子孙啊，你们不致灭亡。For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
7从你们祖先的日子以来，你们就偏离我的律例而不遵守。现在你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们却说：‘我们如何转向呢？’Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8人岂可抢夺神呢？你们竟抢夺我！你们却说：‘我们在何事上抢夺你呢？’其实就是在你们当纳的十分之一奉献和当献的供物上。Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9因你们全国上下都抢夺我的供物，诅咒就临到你们身上。Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10你们要将当纳的十分之一全然送入仓库，使我家有粮，以此试试我，是否为你们敞开天上的窗户，倾福与你们，甚至无处可容。这是万军之耶和华说的。Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11我必为你们斥责蝗虫☛“蝗虫”：原文是“吞噬者”。，不容它毁坏你们的土产。你们田间的葡萄树，果实未熟以先也不会掉落。这是万军之耶和华说的。And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12万国必称你们为有福的，因你们必成为喜乐之地。这是万军之耶和华说的。”神应许施怜悯
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
13耶和华说：“你们用话顶撞我。”你们却说：“我们说了什么话顶撞你呢？”Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14你们说：“事奉神是枉然，我们遵守神所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前哀痛而行，有什么益处呢？Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15现在，我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得以建立；他们虽然试探神，却得以逃脱。”And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16那时，敬畏耶和华的人彼此谈论，耶和华侧耳而听，且有纪念册在他面前，记录那敬畏耶和华、思念他名的人。Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17万军之耶和华说：“在我所定的日子，他们必属我，是我宝贵的产业。我必怜悯他们，如同人怜悯那服侍他的儿子。And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18那时你们必再一次☛“再一次”：七十士译本是“归回”。看出义人和恶人，事奉神和不事奉神的人有何差别。”Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
耶和华的日子临近
万军之耶和华说：“看哪，那日临近，势如烧着的火炉，凡狂傲的和行恶的都如碎秸，在那日被烧尽，根与枝条无一存留。
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2但是，对你们敬畏我名的人，必有公义的太阳出现，其光线☛“光线”：原文是“翅膀”。有医治的能力。你们必出来跳跃如圈里的牛犊。But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3你们必践踏恶人；在我所定的日子，他们必成为你们脚掌下的灰尘。这是万军之耶和华说的。And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
4“你们当记念我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山为以色列众人所吩咐他的律例典章。Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5“看哪，耶和华大而可畏之日未到以前，我要差遣以利亚先知到你们那里去。Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6他必使父亲的心转向儿女，儿女的心转向父亲，免得我来诅咒这地。”And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
