我使徒保罗和所有跟我一起的弟兄，写信给加拉太的众教会。我作使徒不是由于人，也不是藉着人，而是藉着耶稣基督与使他从死人中复活的父神。Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2愿恩惠、平安☛“平安”或译“和平”。从我们的父神和主耶稣基督归给你们！And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
3基督照我们父神的旨意，为我们的罪舍己，要救我们脱离现今这罪恶的世代。Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4愿荣耀归给神，直到永永远远。阿们！没有别的福音
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5我很惊讶你们这么快就离开那位藉着基督之☛有古卷没有“基督之”；另有古卷是“耶稣基督之”。恩呼召你们的神，而去随从别的福音；To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6其实并没有另一个福音，不过有些人骚扰你们，要把基督的福音更改了。I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7但无论是我们或是天上来的使者，若传福音给你们☛有古卷没有“给你们”。，与我们所传给你们的不同，他该受诅咒！Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8我们已经说了，现在我再说，若有人传福音给你们，与你们以往所领受的不同，他该受诅咒！But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9我现在是要得人的心，还是要得神的心呢？难道我在讨人的喜欢吗？我若仍旧想讨人的喜欢，我就不是基督的仆人了。保罗怎样成为使徒
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10弟兄们，我要你们知道，我所传的福音不是按照人的意思；For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11因为我不是从人领受的，也不是人教导我的，而是藉着耶稣基督的启示而来。But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12你们听说过从前我在犹太教中的行径，我怎样竭力压迫残害神的教会。For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13在犹太教中，我比本国许多同辈的人更激进，为我祖宗的传统更热心。For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14然而，那位把我从母腹里分别出来、又施恩呼召我的神☛有古卷没有“神”。，既然乐意And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15把他儿子启示在我心里，让我在外邦人中传扬他，我就没有跟有血有肉的人商量，But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16也没有上耶路撒冷去见那些比我先作使徒的，惟独到阿拉伯去，后来又回到大马士革。To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
17过了三年，我才上耶路撒冷去见矶法，和他同住了十五天。Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
18至于别的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都没有见过。Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19我现在写给你们的是在神面前说的，不说谎话。But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
20以后我到了叙利亚和基利家一带；Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
21那时，在基督里的犹太各教会都没有见过我的面。Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22不过他们听说“那从前压迫我们的，现在竟传扬他原先所残害的信仰”。And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
23他们就为我的缘故归荣耀给神。But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
保罗被其他使徒接纳
过了十四年，我再上耶路撒冷去，巴拿巴同行，也带了提多一起去。
Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
2我是奉了启示上去的；我把在外邦人中所传的福音对弟兄们说明，我是私下对那些有名望的人说的，免得我现在或是从前都徒然奔跑了。And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
3但跟我同去的提多，虽是希腊人，也没有勉强他受割礼；But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4因为有偷着混进来的假弟兄，暗中窥探我们在基督耶稣里拥有的自由，要使我们作奴隶，And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5可是，为要使福音的真理仍存在你们中间，我们一点也没有让步顺服他们。To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
6至于那些有名望的，不论他们是何等人，都与我无关；神不以外貌取人。那些有名望的，并没有加增我什么。But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
7相反地，他们看见了主托付我传福音给未受割礼的人，正如主托付彼得传福音给受割礼的人；But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
8那感动彼得、叫他为受割礼的人作使徒的，也感动我，叫我为外邦人作使徒。(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
9那些被认为是教会柱石的雅各、矶法、约翰知道神所赐给我的恩典，就跟我和巴拿巴握右手以示合作，同意我们往外邦人那里去，他们往受割礼的人那里去。And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
10他们只要求我们记念穷人，这也是我一向热心在做的。保罗责备彼得
Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
11后来，矶法到了安提阿，因为他有可责之处，我就当面反对他。But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12从雅各那里来的人未到以前，他和外邦人一同吃饭，及至他们来到，他因怕奉割礼的人就退出，跟外邦人疏远了。For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13其余的犹太人也都随着他装假，甚至连巴拿巴也随伙装假。And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14但我一看见他们做得不对，与福音的真理不合，就在众人面前对矶法说：“你既是犹太人，却按照外邦人的样子，不按照犹太人的样子生活，怎么能勉强外邦人按照犹太人的样子生活呢？”犹太人也像外邦人因信得救
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15我们生来就是犹太人，不是外邦罪人；We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16可是我们知道，人称义不是因律法的行为，而是因信耶稣基督☛“因信耶稣基督”或译“藉耶稣基督的信”。，我们也信了基督耶稣，为要使我们因信基督称义，不因律法的行为称义，因为，凡血肉之躯没有一个能因律法的行为称义。Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17我们若求在基督里称义，自己却还被视为罪人，那么，基督是罪的用人吗？绝对不是！But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18如果我重新建造我所拆毁的，这就证明自己是违犯律法的人。For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19我因律法而向律法死了，使我可以向神活着。我已经与基督同钉十字架，For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20现在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的儿子而活；他是爱我，为我舍己。I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21我不废掉神的恩；如果义是藉着律法而获得，那么基督就白白死了。I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
律法或信心
无知的加拉太人哪，耶稣基督钉十字架，已经活现在你们眼前，谁又迷惑了你们呢？
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2这是我惟一要问你们的：你们领受了圣灵，是因律法的行为或是因听信福音呢？This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3你们既然以圣灵开始，如今竟要以肉身终结吗？你们是这样的无知吗？Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
4你们受这么多的苦都是徒然的吗？如果真是徒然的，Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
5那么，神赐给你们圣灵，又在你们中间行异能，是因律法的行为或是因听信福音呢？He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6正如亚伯拉罕“信了神，这就算他为义”。Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7所以，你们知道：有信心的人才是亚伯拉罕的子孙。Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8圣经既然预先看见神要使外邦人因信称义，预先传福音给亚伯拉罕，说：“万国都必因你得福。”And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9可见，那有信心的人和有信心的亚伯拉罕一同得福。So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10凡出于律法的行为都是受诅咒的，因为经上记着：“凡不持守律法书上所记的一切而去行的，都是受诅咒的。”For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11没有一个人靠着律法在神面前称义，这是明显的，因为经上说：“义人必因信得生。”But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12律法并不出于信，而是说：“行这些事的就必因此得生。”And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13既然基督为我们成了诅咒，就把我们从律法的诅咒中赎出来。因为经上记着：“凡挂在木头上的都是受诅咒的。”Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14这是要使亚伯拉罕的福，因着基督耶稣临到外邦人，使我们能因信得着所应许的圣灵。律法和应许
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15弟兄们，我照着人的观点说，人的遗嘱一经确定，没有人能废弃或加增。Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
16那些应许原是向亚伯拉罕和他后裔说的，并不是说“和众后裔”，指许多人，而是说“和你那个后裔”，指一个人，就是基督。Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17我是这么说，神预先所立的约不能被四百三十年以后的律法废掉，使应许失效。And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18因为承受产业若是出于律法，就不再是出于应许；但神是凭着应许把产业赐给亚伯拉罕。For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19这样说来，为什么要有律法呢？律法是为过犯的缘故而加上去的，等候那蒙应许的子孙来到才结束，是藉着天使经中保之手而设立的。Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20但中保本不是为单方设立的；神却是一位。奴隶和儿子
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21这样，律法是与神的☛有古卷没有“神的”；另有古卷是“基督的”。应许对立吗？绝对不是！如果律法的颁布能使人得生命，义就诚然出于律法了。Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22但圣经把万物都圈在罪里，为要使因信耶稣基督☛“因信耶稣基督”或译“藉耶稣基督的信”。而来的应许归给信的人。But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23但这“信”还未来以前，我们被看守在律法之下，像被圈住，直到那将来的“信”显明出来。But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24这样，律法是我们的启蒙教师，直到基督来了☛“直到基督来了”或译“引我们到基督那里”。，好使我们因信称义。Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25但这“信”既然来到，我们从此就不在启蒙教师的手下了。But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26其实，你们藉着信，在基督耶稣里都成为神的儿女。For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27你们凡受洗归入基督的都披戴基督了：For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28不再分犹太人或希腊人，不再分为奴的自主的，不再分男的女的，因为你们在基督耶稣里都成为一了。There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29既然你们属于基督，你们就是亚伯拉罕的子孙，是照着应许承受产业的了。And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
我说，虽然那承受产业的是整个产业的主人，但在未成年的时候却与奴隶毫无分别，
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2仍是在监护人和管家的手下，直等他父亲预定的时候来到。But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3我们也是一样，在未成年的时候，被世上粗浅的学说☛“世上粗浅的学说”或译“宇宙的星宿”。所奴役，也是如此。Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4等到时候成熟，神就差遣他的儿子，为女子所生，且生在律法之下，But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5为要把律法之下的人赎出来，使我们获得儿子的名分。To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6因为你们是儿子，神就差他儿子的灵进入我们☛“我们”：有古卷是“你们”。的心，呼叫：“阿爸，父！”And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7可见，你不再是奴隶，而是儿子了，既然是儿子，就靠着神也成为后嗣了。保罗关怀加拉太人
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8但从前不认识神的时候，你们是给那些本来不是神的神明作奴隶；Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9现在你们既然认识神，更可说是被神所认识的，怎么还要转回那懦弱无用的粗浅学说☛“粗浅学说”或译“星宿之学”。，情愿再给它们作奴隶呢？But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10你们竟又谨守日子、月份、节期、年份，Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11我为你们担心，惟恐我在你们身上是枉费工夫了。I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12弟兄们，我劝你们，要像我一样，因为我也像你们一样。你们一点没有亏负我。Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
13你们知道，我因为身体有疾病才有第一次传福音给你们的机会。Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14虽然你们为我身体的缘故受试炼，却没有轻看我，也没有厌弃我，反倒接待我如同神的使者，如同基督耶稣。And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
15你们当日的好意哪里去了呢？那时若办得到，你们就是把自己的眼睛挖出来给我，也都情愿。这是我可以给你们作证的。Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
16如今我把真理告诉你们，倒成了你们的仇敌吗？Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17那些热心待你们的人，不怀好意，是要隔绝你们，好使你们热心待他们。They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18在善事上，时刻热心待别人原是好的，却不只是我与你们同在的时候才这样。But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
19我的孩子们哪，我为你们再受生产之苦，直等到基督成形在你们心里☛“成形在你们心里”或译“在你们当中成形”。。My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20我期望现今就在你们那里，可以改变我的口气，因为我为你们心里难过。夏甲和撒拉的例子
I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
21你们这愿意在律法之下的人，请告诉我，你们没有听见律法吗？Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22因为律法上记着，亚伯拉罕有两个儿子，一个是使女生的，一个是自由的妇人生的。For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23那使女所生的是按着肉体生的；那自由的妇人所生的是凭着应许生的。But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24这是比方：那两个妇人就是两个约；一个妇人是出于西奈山，生子为奴，就是夏甲。Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25这夏甲是指着阿拉伯的西奈山☛有古卷是“因为西奈山是指着阿拉伯的一座山”。，与现在的耶路撒冷同类，因为耶路撒冷和她的儿女都是为奴的。For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26但另一妇人就是在上的耶路撒冷，是自由的，她是我们的母亲。But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27因为经上记着： “不怀孕、不生养的，你要欢乐； 未曾经过产难的，你要高声欢呼； 因为没有丈夫的，比有丈夫的有更多的儿女。”For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28弟兄们，你们是凭着应许作儿女的，如同以撒一样。Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29当时，那按着肉体生的迫害了那按着圣灵生的，现在也是这样。But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30然而经上是怎么说的呢？是说：“把使女和她儿子赶出去！因为使女的儿子绝不能与自由妇人的儿子一同承受产业。”Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31弟兄们，这样看来，我们不是使女的儿女，而是自由妇人的儿女了。So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
基督释放了我们，为使我们得自由。所以要站稳了，不要再被奴隶的轭挟制。
基督徒的自由
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2我—保罗告诉你们，你们若受割礼，基督就对你们无益了。Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3我再指着凡受割礼的人确实地说，他有义务遵行全部的律法。For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4你们这要靠律法称义的是与基督隔绝，从恩典中坠落了。Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5至于我们，我们是靠着圣灵，凭着信心，等候所盼望的义。For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6因为在基督耶稣里，受割礼不受割礼都没有功效，惟独使人发出仁爱的信心才有功效。For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7你们向来跑得好，谁拦阻了你们，使你们不顺从真理呢？Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8这样的劝导不是出于那召你们的。This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9一点面酵能使全团都发起来。A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10我在主里深信你们必不怀别样的心；但骚扰你们的，无论是谁，必须承受惩罚。I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11弟兄们，我若仍旧传割礼，为什么还受迫害呢？若是这样，十字架绊倒人的地方就没有了。And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12恨不得那骚扰你们的人把自己阉割了。I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13弟兄们，你们蒙召是要得自由；只是不可把这自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要用爱心互相服侍。For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14因为全部律法都包括在“爱邻☛“邻”也可译作“人”。如己”这一句话之内了。For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15你们要谨慎，你们若相咬相吞，恐怕要彼此消灭了。圣灵的果子和肉体的恶行
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16我说，你们要顺着圣灵而行，绝不可满足肉体的情欲。This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17因为肉体的情欲和圣灵相争，圣灵和肉体相争，这两个彼此敌对，使你们不能做所愿意做的。For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18但你们若被圣灵引导，就不在律法之下。But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19情欲的事都是显而易见的；就如淫乱、污秽、放荡、Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、纷争、忌恨、愤怒、自私、分派、结党、Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21嫉妒☛有古卷在此加“凶杀”。、醉酒、荒宴等类。我从前告诉过你们，现在又告诉你们，做这样事的人必不能承受神的国。Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22圣灵的果子就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23温柔、节制。这样的事没有律法禁止。Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24凡属基督耶稣☛“基督耶稣”：有古卷是“基督”。的人，是已经把肉体与肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了。And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25我们若靠着圣灵而活，也要靠着圣灵行事。If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26不要贪图虚名，彼此惹气，互相嫉妒。Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
各人的重担要互相担当
弟兄们，若有人偶然被过犯所胜，你们属灵的人就要用温柔的心把他挽回过来；自己也要留意，免得也被引诱。
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2你们各人的重担要互相担当，这样就会成全☛有古卷是“要这样成全”。基督的律法。Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3人若没有什么了不起，还自以为了不起的，就是自欺。For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4各人要省察自己的行为；这样，他所夸口的只在自己，而不在别人。But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5因为人人必须担当自己的担子。For every man shall bear his own burden.
6在真道上受教的，要把一切美好的东西与施教的人分享。Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7不要自欺；神是轻慢不得的，因为人种的是什么，收的也是什么。Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8顺着肉体撒种的，必从肉体收败坏；顺着圣灵撒种的，必从圣灵收永生。For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9我们行善不可丧志，因为若不灰心，到了适当的时候就有收成。And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10所以，一有机会就要向众人行善，向信徒一家的人更要这样。警告和祝福
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
11你们看我亲手写给你们的字是何等的大！Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12那些想要炫耀外表的人才勉强你们受割礼，无非是怕自己为基督的十字架受迫害。As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13他们那些受割礼的，连自己也不守律法；他们要你们受割礼，不过是要拿你们的肉体夸口。For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14但我绝不以别的夸口，只夸我们主耶稣基督的十字架；因这十字架☛“因这十字架”或译“藉着他（基督）”。，就我而论，世界已经钉在十字架上；就世界而论，我已经钉在十字架上。But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15受割礼或不受割礼都无关紧要，要紧的就是作新造的人。For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16凡照这准则行的人，愿平安☛“平安”或译“和平”。怜悯加给他们，和神的以色列民。And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17从今以后，不要有人再搅扰我，因为我身上带着耶稣的印记。From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18弟兄们，愿我们主耶稣基督的恩与你们的灵同在。阿们！Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
