何西阿的妻子和儿女
The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2耶和华初次向何西阿说话。耶和华对他说：“你去娶一个淫荡的女子为妻，收那从淫乱所生的儿女；因为这地行大淫乱，离弃耶和华。”The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
3于是，何西阿去娶了滴拉音的女儿歌篾。她就怀孕，为何西阿生了一个儿子。So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
4耶和华对何西阿说：“给他起名叫耶斯列☛“耶斯列”意思是“神栽种”；2．22同。；因为再过片时，我要惩罚耶户家在耶斯列流人血的罪，也必终结以色列家的王朝。And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5到那日，我必在耶斯列平原折断以色列的弓。”And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
6歌篾又怀孕，生了一个女儿，耶和华对何西阿说：“给她起名叫罗．路哈玛☛“罗．路哈玛”意思是“不蒙怜悯”；2．23同。；因为我必不再怜悯以色列家，绝不赦免他们。And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
7我却要怜悯犹大家，使他们靠耶和华－他们的神得救；我必不让他们靠弓、刀、战争、马匹与骑兵得救。”But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8歌篾在罗．路哈玛断奶以后，又怀孕生了一个儿子。Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9耶和华说：“给他起名叫罗．阿米☛“罗．阿米”意思是“非我民”；2．23同。；因为你们不是我的子民，我也不是你们的神☛原文没有“神”。。”以色列将要复兴
Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10然而，以色列的人数必多如海沙，不可量，不可数。从前在什么地方对他们说“你们不是我的子民”，将来就在那里称他们为“永生神的儿子”。Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11犹大人和以色列人要一同聚集，为自己设立一个“头”，从这地上来，因为耶斯列的日子必为大日。Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.
2要跟你们的母亲理论，理论， ─因为她不是我的妻子， 我也不是她的丈夫─ 叫她除掉脸上的淫相 和胸间的淫态，Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
3免得我剥光她，使她赤身， 如刚出生的时候一样， 使她如旷野，如干旱之地， 干渴而死。Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.
4我必不怜悯她的儿女， 因为他们是从淫乱生的儿女。And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.
5他们的母亲行了淫乱， 怀他们的做了可羞耻的事； 因为她说：“我要跟随我所爱的， 我的饼、水、羊毛、麻、油、酒， 都是他们给的。”For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

8她不知道是我给她五谷、新酒和新的油， 又加添她的金银； 他们却用来供奉巴力。For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.
9因此，我要在收割的日子收回我的五谷， 在当令的季节收回我的新酒， 我要夺回她用以遮体的羊毛和麻。Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.

12我要毁坏她的葡萄树和无花果树， 就是她所说“我所爱的给我为赏赐”的； 我要使它们变为荒林， 为野地的走兽所吞吃。And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
13我要惩罚她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪； 那时她佩戴耳环和珠宝， 跟随她所爱的，却忘记我。 这是耶和华说的。神对他子民的爱
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
14因此，看哪，我要诱导她，领她到旷野， 我要说动她的心。Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15在那里，我必赐她葡萄园， 又赐她亚割谷作为指望的门。 她必在那里回应， 像在年轻时从埃及地上来的时候一样。And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

17因为我必从她口中除掉诸巴力的名号，不再有人提这名号。For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
18当那日，我必为我的百姓，与野地的走兽、天空的飞鸟和地上爬行的动物立约；又要在国中折断弓和刀，止息战争，使他们安然躺卧。And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
19我必聘你永远归我为妻，以公义、公平、慈爱、怜悯聘你归我；And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20也以信实聘你归我，你就必认识耶和华。I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
21耶和华说：那日我必应允， 我必应允天，天必应允地，And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
22地必应允五谷、新酒和新的油； 这些都必应允在耶斯列身上。And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
23我为自己必将她种在这地。 我必怜悯罗．路哈玛； 对罗．阿米说： “你是我的子民”； 他必说：“我的神。”And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
何西阿和不贞的妇人
耶和华又对我说：“你去爱那情人所爱却犯奸淫的妇人，正如耶和华爱那偏向别神、喜爱葡萄饼☛“葡萄饼”是祭祀神明用的。的以色列人。”
Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
2于是我用十五舍客勒银子和一贺梅珥半大麦买她归我。So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
3我对她说：“你当多日与我同住，不可行淫，不可归与别人，我对你也一样。”And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.
4因为以色列人必多日过着无君王，无领袖，无祭祀，无柱像，无以弗得，无家中神像的生活。For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5后来以色列人必归回☛“归回”或译“回转”。，寻求耶和华─他们的神和他们的王大卫。在末后的日子，他们必敬畏耶和华，领受他的恩惠。Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
耶和华谴责以色列
以色列人哪，当听耶和华的话。 耶和华指控这地的居民， 因为在这地上无诚信， 无慈爱，无人认识神；Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2惟起誓、欺骗、杀害、 偷盗、奸淫、残暴、 流血又流血。By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
3因此，这地悲哀， 其上的居民、野地的走兽、 天空的飞鸟都日趋衰微， 海中的鱼也必消灭。谴责祭司
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
4然而，人都不必争辩，也不必指责。 你的百姓与抗拒祭司的人一样。Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
5日间你必跌倒， 夜间先知也要与你一同跌倒； 我要灭绝你的母亲。Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.
6我的百姓因无知识而灭亡。 你抛弃知识， 我也必抛弃你， 使你不再作我的祭司。 你既忘了你神的律法， 我也必忘记你的儿女。My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
7祭司越发增多，就越发得罪我； 我必使他们的荣耀变为羞辱。As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
8他们吞吃我百姓的赎罪祭☛“赎罪祭”或译“罪”。， 满心愿意我的子民犯罪。They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
9将来百姓所受的， 祭司也必承受； 我必因他们所行的惩罚他们， 照他们所做的报应他们。And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
10他们吃，却不得饱足； 行淫，却不繁衍； 因为他们离弃耶和华， 常行For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
11淫乱。 酒和新酒夺去人的心。谴责拜偶像的罪
Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.
12我的百姓求问木偶， 以为木杖能指示他们； 淫乱的心使他们失迷， 以致行淫离弃他们的神，My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.
13在各山顶献祭，在各高冈上烧香， 在橡树、杨树、大树之下， 因为那里树影美好。 所以，你们的女儿行淫， 你们的媳妇☛“媳妇”或译“新娘”；下同。犯奸淫。They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
14我不因你们的女儿行淫 或你们的媳妇犯奸淫惩罚她们； 因为人自己转去与娼妓同居， 与神庙娼妓一同献祭。 这无知的百姓必致倾倒。I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.
15以色列啊，你虽然行淫， 犹大却不可犯罪； 不要往吉甲去， 不要上到伯．亚文， 也不要指着永生的耶和华起誓。Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth.
16以色列倔强， 犹如倔强的母牛； 现在耶和华能牧放他们， 如在宽阔之地牧放羔羊吗？For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.
17以法莲亲近偶像， 任凭他吧！Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.
18他们喝完了酒， 荒淫无度， 他们的官长甚爱羞耻的事。Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.
19风把他们卷在翅膀里， 他们必因所献的祭☛“所献的祭”：七十士译本是“祭坛”。蒙羞。The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2这些悖逆的人大行杀戮， 我要斥责他们众人。And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
4他们所做的使他们不能归向神， 因有淫乱的心在他们里面； 他们不认识耶和华。They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.

6他们牵着牛羊去寻求耶和华， 却寻不着； 因他已转去离开他们。They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7他们不忠于耶和华， 生了私生子。 现在新月必吞灭他们和他们的地业。犹大和以色列的战争
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
8你们当在基比亚吹角， 在拉玛吹号， 在伯．亚文发出警报； 便雅悯哪，留意你的背后！Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.
9到了惩罚的日子，以法莲必变为废墟； 我在以色列众支派中，已指示将来必成的事。Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10犹大的领袖如同挪移地界的人， 我必把我的愤怒如水倾倒在他们身上。The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11以法莲因喜爱遵从荒谬的命令☛“遵从荒谬的命令”：原文另译“追求粪土”；七十士译本和其他古译本是“追求虚无”。， 就受欺压，在审判中被压碎。Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12我对以法莲竟如蛀虫， 向犹大家竟如朽烂。Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13以法莲见自己有病， 犹大见自己有伤， 以法莲就前往亚述， 差遣人去见大王☛“大王”或译“耶雷布王”；10．6同。； 他却不能医治你们， 不能治好你们的伤。When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14我必向以法莲如狮子， 向犹大家如少壮狮子。 我要撕裂，并且离去， 我必夺去，无人搭救。For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
15我要去，我要回到原处， 等他们自觉有罪，寻求我的面； 急难时他们必切切寻求我。I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
以色列无悔改诚意
来，我们归向耶和华吧！ 他撕裂我们，也必医治； 打伤我们，也必包扎。Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2过两天他必使我们苏醒， 第三天他必使我们兴起， 我们就在他面前得以存活。After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3我们要认识，要追求认识耶和华。 他如黎明必然出现， 他必临到我们像甘霖， 像滋润土地的春雨。Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4以法莲哪，我可以向你怎样行呢？ 犹大啊，我可以向你怎样做呢？ 因为你们的慈爱如同早晨的云雾， 又如速散的露水。O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
5因此，我藉先知砍伐他们， 以我口中的话杀戮他们； 对你的审判☛“对你的审判”：七十士译本和其他古译本是“我的审判”。如光发出。Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

8基列是作恶之人的城， 被血沾染。Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

10在以色列家我看见可憎的事， 在以法莲那里有淫行， 以色列被污辱了。I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11犹大啊，我使被掳之民归回的时候， 必有为你所预备的丰收。Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.
When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.
2他们以为我不在意他们一切的恶行； 现在，他们所做的在我面前缠绕他们。宫廷内乱
And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
3他们行恶使君王欢喜， 说谎使官长快乐。They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
4他们全都犯奸淫， 如同烤热的火炉， 师傅在揉面到发面时 暂时停止煽火。They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
5在我们君王宴乐的日子， 官长因酒的烈性而生病☛“因酒...生病”：七十士译本是“开始因酒而狂热”。， 王与亵慢的人握手。In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.
8以法莲混居在万民中☛“混居在万民中”或译“在万民中逐渐枯朽”。， 以法莲是没有翻过的饼。Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
9外邦人消耗他的力量，他却不知道； 头发斑白，他也不觉得。Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
10以色列的骄傲使自己脸面无光。 他们虽遭遇这一切， 仍不归向耶和华－他们的神， 也不寻求他。And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

13他们因离弃我，必定有祸； 因违背我，必遭毁灭。 我虽想要救赎他们，他们却向我说谎。Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
14他们在床上呼号， 却不诚心哀求我； 他们为求五谷新酒而聚集☛“聚集”：有古卷和七十士译本是“割伤自己”。， 却背叛我。And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
15我虽管教他们，坚固他们的膀臂， 他们却图谋邪恶抗拒我。Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

你用口吹角吧！ 敌人如鹰攻打耶和华的家； 因为他们违背了我的约， 干犯了我的律法。Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
2他们必呼求我： “我的神啊，我们以色列认识你了☛“我的神啊...认识你了”：原文另译“以色列的神啊，我们认识你了”。。”Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
3以色列丢弃良善☛“良善”或译“福分”。； 仇敌必追逼他。Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
4他们立君王，并非出于我； 立官长，我却不知道。 他们用金银为自己制造偶像， 以致被剪除。They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
5撒玛利亚啊，耶和华已抛弃你的牛犊； 我的怒气向拜牛犊的人发作。 他们要到几时方能无罪呢？Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
6因这牛犊是出于以色列， 是匠人所造的， 并不是神。 撒玛利亚的牛犊必被打碎。For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
7他们所栽种的是风， 所收割的是暴风； 禾稼不长穗， 无以制成面粉； 即便制成， 外邦人也必吞吃它。For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
8以色列被吞吃， 如今在列国中像人所不喜爱的器皿。Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
9他们投奔亚述如独行的野驴。 以法莲雇用情人，For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
10他们雇用列国； 如今我要聚集他们， 他们必因君王和官长所加的重担开始衰微☛“他们必因...衰微”：七十士译本是“他们要停止片时，不再膏君王和官长”。。Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.
11以法莲为赎罪增添许多祭坛， 这些祭坛却使他犯罪。Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
12我为他写了许多条☛“许多条”：原文另译“万条”。律法， 他却以为与他毫无关系。I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
13他们献祭物作为给我的供物， 却自食其肉， 耶和华并不悦纳他们。 现在他必记起他们的罪孽， 惩罚他们的罪恶； 他们必返回埃及。They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
14以色列忘记造他的主，建造宫殿， 犹大增添许多坚固的城； 我却要降火在他的城镇， 吞灭其堡垒。For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
宣布以色列受惩罚
以色列啊，不要欢喜， 像☛“像”：七十士译本是“不要像”。万民一样快乐； 因为你行淫离弃你的神， 喜爱各禾场上卖淫所得的赏金。Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
2禾场和压酒池都不足以喂养他们， 它的新酒也必缺乏。The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.
3他们必不得住耶和华的地； 以法莲却要返回埃及， 在亚述吃不洁净的食物。They shall not dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
4他们必不得向耶和华献浇酒祭， 所献的祭也不蒙悦纳。 他们的祭物如居丧者的食物， 凡吃的必使自己玷污； 因为他们的食物只为自己的口腹， 必不得入耶和华的殿。They shall not offer wine offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
5到盛会的日子，在耶和华的节期， 你们要怎样行呢？What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?
6看哪，他们要逃避灾难； 埃及人要收殓他们， 摩弗☛“摩弗”就是埃及的孟斐斯，也称“挪弗”。人要埋葬他们。 蒺藜盘踞他们贵重的银器， 荆棘必占据他们的帐棚。For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles.
7降罚的日子近了， 报应的时候已经来到。 以色列必知道， 先知愚昧， 受灵感动的人狂妄， 皆因你多多作恶，大怀怨恨。The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
8以法莲替我的神守望； 至于先知，他所到之处都有捕鸟人的罗网， 在他神的家中也遭人怀恨。The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.
9他们深深败坏， 如在基比亚的日子一样。 耶和华必记起他们的罪孽， 惩罚他们的罪恶。以色列的罪及其后果
They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.
10我发现以色列， 如在旷野的葡萄； 我看见你们的祖先， 如春季无花果树上初熟的果子。 他们却来到巴力．毗珥， 献上自己做羞耻的事， 成为可憎恶的， 与他们所爱的一样。I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
11以法莲，他们的荣耀如鸟飞去， 必不生产，不怀胎，不成孕；As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
12他们纵然将儿女养大， 我却要使他们丧子，一个也不留。 我离弃他们， 他们就有祸了。Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
13我看以法莲如推罗栽于美地。 以法莲却要将自己的儿女带出来， 交给行杀戮的人。Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
14耶和华啊，求你加给他们， 加给他们什么呢？ 要使他们怀孕流产， 乳房枯干。耶和华审判以色列
Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15因他们在吉甲的一切恶事， 我在那里憎恶他们。 因他们所行的恶， 我必把他们赶出我的殿， 不再爱他们； 他们的领袖都是悖逆的。All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
16以法莲受击打， 其根枯干，不能结果， 即或生产， 我也要杀他们所生的爱子。先知论以色列
Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
17我的神必弃绝他们， 因为他们不听从他； 他们必飘流在列国中。My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
2他们心怀二意， 现今要定为有罪。 耶和华必拆毁他们的祭坛， 粉碎他们的柱像。Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
3现在他们要说： “我们没有王； 因为我们不敬畏耶和华， 王又能为我们做什么呢？”For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
4他们讲空话， 以假誓立约； 因此，惩罚如苦菜滋生 在田间的犁沟中。They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
5撒玛利亚的居民必因伯．亚文的牛犊惊恐； 它的百姓为它悲哀， 它的祭司为它战兢， 因为荣耀已经离开它。The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
6人必将牛犊带到亚述， 当作礼物献给大王。 以法莲必蒙羞， 以色列必因自己的计谋惭愧。It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
7撒玛利亚的王要灭亡， 如水面上的泡沫一般。As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
8亚文的丘坛， 以色列犯罪的地方必毁坏， 荆棘和蒺藜必长在他们的祭坛上。 他们要向大山说：遮盖我们！ 向小山说：倒在我们身上！神审判以色列
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
9以色列啊， 你从基比亚的日子以来就时常犯罪， 他们仍停留在那里。 攻击罪孽之辈的战事岂不会临到基比亚吗？O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
10我必随己意惩罚他们， 他们为双重的罪所缠； 万民必聚集攻击他们。It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
11以法莲是驯良的母牛犊，喜爱踹谷， 我要将轭套在它肥美的颈项上， 我要使以法莲被套住； 犹大必耕田， 雅各必耙地。And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
12你们要为自己栽种公义， 收割慈爱。 你们要开垦荒地， 现今正是寻求耶和华的时候； 等他临到，公义必如雨降给你们。Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
13你们耕种奸恶， 收割罪孽， 吃的是谎言的果实。 因你倚靠自己的行为， 仰赖你众多的勇士，Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
14所以在你百姓中必掀起闹哄， 你一切的堡垒必被拆毁， 就如沙勒幔在争战的日子拆毁伯．亚比勒， 将城中的母子一同摔碎。Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
15伯特利☛“伯特利”：七十士译本是“以色列家”。啊，因你们的大恶， 你们必遭遇如此。 黎明来临，以色列的王必全然灭绝。So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
怜爱叛民
以色列年幼的时候，我爱他， 就从埃及召我的儿子出来。When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
2先知☛“先知”：原文是“他们”。越是呼唤他们， 他们越是远离☛“先知...远离”：七十士译本是“我越是呼唤他们，他们越是远离我”。， 向诸巴力献祭， 为雕刻的偶像烧香。As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
3我曾教导以法莲行走， 我用膀臂☛“我用膀臂”是根据七十士译本；原文是“他用他的膀臂”。抱起他们， 他们却不知道是我医治他们。I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
4我用慈绳爱索牵引他们； 我待他们如人松开牛两腮旁边的轭， 弯下身来喂养他们。I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
5他们不必返回埃及地； 然而亚述人要作他们的王， 因他们不肯归向我。He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
6刀剑必临到他们的城镇， 毁坏门闩，吞灭众人， 都因他们自己的计谋。And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
7我的百姓偏要背离我， 他们虽向至高者呼求， 他却不抬举他们☛“他们虽...不抬举他们”或译“虽然人呼召他们归向至高者，却无人尊崇他”。。And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
8以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你？ 以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？ 我怎能使你如押玛？ 怎能使你如洗扁？ 我回心转意， 我的怜悯燃了起来。How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
9我必不发猛烈的怒气， 也不再毁灭以法莲。 因我是神，并非世人， 是你们中间的圣者； 我必不在怒中临到你们。I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
10耶和华如狮子吼叫， 他的儿女必跟随他。 他一吼叫， 他们就从西方战兢而来。They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
11他们必如雀鸟从埃及战兢而来， 又如鸽子从亚述地来到。 我必使他们住自己的房屋； 这是耶和华说的。谴责以色列
They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.
12以法莲用谎言围绕我， 以色列家用诡计环绕我； 犹大却仍与神同行☛“与神同行”：七十士译本是“为神所认识”。， 向圣者忠心。Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
2耶和华指控犹大， 要照雅各所行的惩罚他， 按他所做的报应他。The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
3他在腹中抓住哥哥的脚跟， 壮年的时候与神角力，He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:
4他与天使角力，并且得胜。 他曾哀哭，恳求施恩。 在伯特利遇见耶和华， 耶和华在那里吩咐我们☛“我们”：七十士译本和其他古译本是“他”。，Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;
5耶和华是万军之神， 耶和华是他可记念的名。Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.
6所以你当归向你的神， 谨守慈爱和公平， 常常等候你的神。续论以色列
Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.
7商人☛“商人”或译“迦南”。手持诡诈的天平， 喜爱欺压。He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.
8以法莲说： 我果然富有，得了财宝； 我所劳碌得来的一切， 人必找不到我有什么可算为有罪的恶。And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
9自从你出埃及地以来， 我就是耶和华－你的神； 我必使你再住帐棚， 如同节期的日子一样。And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
10我已吩咐众先知， 又增加异象， 藉先知设比喻。I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.
11基列没有罪孽吗？ 他们诚然是虚假的， 在吉甲献牛犊为祭； 他们的祭坛如同田间犁沟中的乱堆。Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.
12从前雅各逃到亚兰地， 以色列为娶妻子工作， 为娶妻子而牧放。And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.
13后来耶和华藉先知领以色列从埃及上来， 也藉先知看顾他们。And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
14然而以法莲大大惹动主怒， 他所流的血必归到他身上。 主必使他的羞辱归还给他。Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his LORD return unto him.
以色列最后的审判
从前以法莲说话，人都战兢， 他在以色列中居处高位； 但他因巴力犯罪就死了。When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
2如今他们罪上加罪， 为自己铸造偶像， 凭自己的聪明用银子造偶像， 全都是匠人所制的。 论到它，有话说： 献祭的人都要亲吻牛犊。And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
3因此，他们必如早晨的云雾， 又如速散的露水， 如被狂风吹离禾场的糠秕， 又如烟囱冒出的烟。Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
4自从你出埃及地以来， 我就是耶和华－你的神； 除了我神以外，你不认识别的， 在我以外，并没有救主。Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
5我曾在旷野， 就是那干旱之地认识你。I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
6他们得到喂养，就饱足； 既得饱足，就心高气傲， 因而忘记了我。According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
7因此我向他们如同狮子， 又如豹伏在道旁。Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
8我如失去小熊的母熊，攻击他们， 撕裂他们的胸膛。 在那里我必如母狮吞吃他们， 如野兽撕开他们。I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
9以色列啊，你自取灭亡了 ☛“你自取灭亡了”：原文另译“我要毁灭你”。， 因为我才是你的帮助。☛本节七十士译本是“以色列啊，在你的毁灭中，谁能帮助呢？”O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
10现在，你的王在哪里呢？ 让他在你的各城中拯救你吧！ 你曾说“给我立君王和官长”， 那些治理你的又在哪里呢？I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?
11我在怒气中将王赐给你， 又在烈怒中将王废去。I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.
12以法莲的罪孽被卷起来， 他的罪恶被收藏起来。The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
13产妇的疼痛必临到他身上； 他是无智慧之子， 如同临盆时未出现的胎儿。The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
14我必救赎他们脱离阴间， 救赎他们脱离死亡。 死亡啊，你的灾害在哪里？ 阴间哪，你的毁灭在哪里？ 怜悯必从我眼前消逝。I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
15他在弟兄中虽然旺盛， 却有东风刮来， 就是耶和华的风从旷野上来。 他的泉源必干涸， 他的源头必枯竭， 这风必夺走他所积蓄的一切宝物。Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
16撒玛利亚要担当罪孽， 因为背叛自己的神。 他们必倒在刀下， 婴孩必被摔碎， 孕妇必被剖开。Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
劝告以色列人
以色列啊，你要归向耶和华－你的神， 你因自己的罪孽跌倒了。O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2当归向耶和华， 用言语向他说： “求你除尽罪孽，悦纳善行， 我们就用嘴唇的祭代替牛犊献上。Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
3亚述不能救我们， 我们不再骑马， 也不再对我们手所造的偶像说： ‘你是我们的神’； 孤儿在你那里得蒙怜悯。”应许以色列新生命
Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4我必医治他们背道的病， 甘心爱他们， 因为我向他们所发的怒气已转消。I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
5我必向以色列如甘露； 他必如百合花开放， 如黎巴嫩的树扎根。I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
6他的嫩枝必延伸， 他的荣华如橄榄树， 香气如黎巴嫩的香柏树。His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
7曾住在他荫下的必归回，使五谷生长☛“使五谷生长”：原文另译“他们生长如园子”；七十士译本是“以五谷维生和得灌溉”。， 他们要发旺如葡萄树， 他的名气☛“名气”或译“香气”。如黎巴嫩的酒。They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8以法莲说： “我与偶像有何相干？” 我应允他，顾念他： 我如青翠的松树， 你的果实从我而来。结语
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
9智慧人必明白这些事， 聪明人必知道这一切。 耶和华的道是正直的， 义人行在其中， 罪人却在其上跌倒。Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
