问候
奉神旨意作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，写信给在以弗所的☛有古卷没有“在以弗所的”。众圣徒，就是在基督耶稣里忠心的人。
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2愿恩惠、平安☛“平安”或译“和平”。从我们的父神和主耶稣基督归给你们！基督里的属灵福气
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3愿颂赞归给我们主耶稣基督的父神。他在基督里曾把天上各样属灵的福气赐给我们。Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4因为他从创世以前，在基督里拣选了我们，使我们在他面前成为圣洁，没有瑕疵，满有爱心。According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5他按着自己旨意所喜悦的☛“没有瑕疵...喜悦的”：原文或译“没有瑕疵。在爱中，他按着自己旨意所喜悦的”。，预定我们藉着耶稣基督得儿子的名分，Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6使他荣耀的恩典得到称赞；这恩典是他在爱子里白白赐给我们的。To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7我们藉着这爱子的血得蒙救赎，过犯得以赦免，这是照他丰富的恩典，In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8充充足足地赏给我们的。他以诸般的智慧聪明，Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9照自己在基督里所立定的美意，使我们知道他旨意的奥秘，Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10要照着所安排的，在时机成熟的时候，使天上、地上、一切所有的，都在基督里面同归于一。That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11我们也在他里面得了基业；这原是那位随己意行万事的神照着自己的旨意所预定的，In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12为要使我们，这些首先把希望寄托在基督里的人，颂赞他的荣耀。That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13在基督里你们听见真理的道，就是那使你们得救的福音，你们也信了他，就受了所应许的圣灵为印记。In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14这圣灵是我们得基业的凭据，直等到神的子民得救赎，使他的荣耀得到称赞。保罗的祷告
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15因此，我既然听见你们对主耶稣有信心，对众圣徒有爱心，Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16就不住地为你们感谢神，祷告的时候常常提到你们，Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17求我们主耶稣基督的神，荣耀的父，把那赐人智慧和启示的灵赐给你们，使你们真正认识他，That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18照亮你们心中的眼睛，使你们知道他呼召你们来得的指望是什么，他在圣徒中所得荣耀的基业是何等丰盛，The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19并知道他向我们这些信的人所显的能力是何等浩大，这是照他的大能大力运行的。And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20这大能曾运行在基督身上，使他从死人中复活，又使他在天上坐在自己的右边，Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21远超越一切执政的、掌权的、有权能的、统治的和一切有名号的；不但是今世的，连来世的也都超越了。Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22神使万有服在他的脚下，又使他为了教会作万有之首；And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23教会是他的身体，是那充满万有者所充满的。Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
出死入生
从前，你们因着自己的过犯罪恶而死了。
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2那时，你们在过犯罪恶中生活，随从今世的风俗，顺服空中掌权者的领袖，就是现今在悖逆的人心中运行的邪灵。Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3我们从前也都生活在他们当中，放纵肉体的私欲，随着肉体和心中的意念去做，和别人一样，生来就是该受惩罚的人。Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4然而，神有丰富的怜悯，因着他爱我们的大爱，But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5竟在我们因过犯而死了的时候，使我们与基督一同活过来—可见你们得救是本乎恩—Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6他又使我们在基督耶稣里与他一同复活，一同坐在天上，And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7为要把他极丰富的恩典，就是他在基督耶稣里向我们所施的恩慈，显明给后来的世代。That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8你们得救是本乎恩，也因着信；这并不是出于自己，而是神所赐的；For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9也不是出于行为，免得有人自夸。Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10我们是他所造之物，在基督耶稣里创造的，为要使我们行善，就是神早已预备好要我们做的。在基督里合而为一
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11所以，你们要记得：从前你们按肉体是外邦人，是“没受割礼的”；这名字是那些凭人手在肉身上“受割礼的人”所取的。Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12要记得那时候，你们与基督无关，与以色列选民团体隔绝，在所应许的约上是局外人，而且在世上没有指望，没有神。That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13从前你们是远离神的人，如今却在基督耶稣里，靠着他的血，已经得以亲近了。But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14因为他自己是我们的和平☛“因为…和平”或译“因为他使我们和睦”。，使双方合而为一，拆毁了中间隔绝的墙，而且以自己的身体终止了冤仇，For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15废掉那记在律法上的规条，为要使两方藉着自己造成一个新人，促成了和平；Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16既在十字架上消灭了冤仇，就藉这十字架使双方归为一体，与神和好，And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17并且来传和平的福音给你们远处的人，也传和平给那些近处的人，And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18因为我们双方藉着他，在同一位圣灵里得以进到父面前。For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19这样，你们不再是外人或客旅，是与圣徒同国，是神家里的人了，Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，而基督耶稣自己为房角石，And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21靠着他整座房子连接得紧凑，渐渐成为在主里的圣殿。In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22你们也靠他同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
保罗向外邦人传福音
因此，我—保罗为你们外邦人作了基督耶稣☛“基督耶稣”：有古卷是“基督”。囚徒的，替你们祈祷☛此句是对照14节所加的。。
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2想必你们曾听见神赐恩给我，把关切你们的职分托付我，If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3用启示让我知道福音的奥秘，正如我以前略略写过的。How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4你们读了，就会知道我深深了解基督的奥秘；Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5这奥秘在以前的世代没有让人知道，像如今藉着圣灵向他的圣使徒和先知启示一样，Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6就是外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，得以同为后嗣，同为一体，同为蒙应许的人。That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7我作了这福音的仆役，是照着神的恩赐，是照他运行的大能赐给我的。Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
8虽然我比众圣徒中最小的还小，他还赐我这恩典，让我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外邦人，Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9又使众人都明白☛“使众人都明白”：有古卷是“显明”。什么是历代以来隐藏在创造万物之神里的奥秘，And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10为要在现今藉着教会使天上执政的、掌权的知道神百般的智慧。To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11这是照着神在我们主基督耶稣里所完成的永恒的计划。According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12我们因信耶稣☛“因信耶稣”或译“藉耶稣的信”。，就在他里面放胆无惧，满有自信地进到神面前。In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13所以我求你们，不要因我为你们所受的患难丧胆；这原是你们的光荣。明白基督的爱
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14因此，我在父面前屈膝—For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15天上地上的各家都是从他得名的－Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16为要他按着他丰盛的荣耀，藉着他的灵，使你们内心的力量刚强起来；That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17又要他使基督因着你们的信住在你们心里，使你们既在爱中生根立基，That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18能够和众圣徒一同明白基督的爱是何等的长、阔、高、深，并知道这爱是超过人的知识所能测度的，为要使你们充满神一切的丰盛。May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19神能照着运行在我们心里的大能充充足足地成就一切，超过我们所求所想的。And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20愿他在教会中，并在基督耶稣里，得着荣耀，直到世世代代，永永远远。阿们！Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
身体的合一
我为主作囚徒的劝你们，既然蒙召，行事为人就要与你们所蒙的呼召相称。
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2凡事要谦虚、温柔、忍耐，用爱心互相宽容，With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3以和平彼此联系，竭力保持圣灵所赐的合一。Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4身体只有一个，圣灵只有一位，正如你们蒙召，是为同有一个指望而蒙召，There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5一主，一信，一洗，One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6一神－就是万人之父，超越万有之上，贯通万有，在万有之中。One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7我们每个人蒙恩都是照基督所量给每个人的恩赐。But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8所以有话说： “他升上高天的时候，掳掠了俘虏， 将各样的恩赐赏给人。”Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9既说“他升上”，岂不是指他曾降到地底下吗？(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10那降下的，就是高升远超越诸天之上的，为要充满万有。He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11他所赐的有使徒，有先知，有传福音的，有牧者和教师，And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12为要装备圣徒，做事奉的工作，建立基督的身体，For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13直等到我们众人在信仰上同归于一，认识神的儿子，得以长大成人，达到基督完全长成的身量。Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14这样，我们不再作小孩子，中了人的诡计和欺骗的法术，被一切邪说之风摇动，飘来飘去。That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15我们反而要用爱心说诚实话，各方面向着基督长进，连于元首基督，But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16靠着他全身都连接得紧凑，百节各按各职，照着各体的功用彼此相助，使身体渐渐增长，在爱中建立自己。旧我和新我
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17所以我这样说，且在主里郑重地说，你们行事为人，不要再像外邦人存虚妄的心而活。This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18他们心地昏昧，因自己无知，心里刚硬而与神所赐的生命隔绝了。Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19既然他们已经麻木，就放纵情欲，贪婪地行种种污秽的事。Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20但你们从基督学的不是这样。But ye have not so learned Christ;
21如果你们听过他的道，领了他的教，因为真理就在耶稣里，If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22你们要脱去从前的行为，脱去旧我；这旧我是因私欲的迷惑而渐渐败坏的。That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23你们要把自己的心志更新，And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24并且穿上新我；这新我是照着神的形像造的，有从真理来的公义和圣洁。新生活的守则
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25所以，你们要弃绝谎言，每个人要与邻舍说诚实话，因为我们是互为肢体。Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26即使生气也不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落，Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27不可给魔鬼留地步。Neither give place to the devil.
28偷窃的，不要再偷；总要勤劳，亲手☛有古卷没有“亲手”。做正当的事，这样才可以把自己有的，分给有缺乏的人。Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29一句坏话也不可出口，只要随着需要说造就人的好话，让听见的人得益处。Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30不要使神的圣灵担忧，你们原是受了他的印记，等候得救赎的日子来到。And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31一切苦毒、愤怒、恼恨、嚷闹、毁谤，和一切的恶毒都要从你们中间除掉。Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32要仁慈相待，存怜悯的心，彼此饶恕，正如神在基督里饶恕了你们一样。And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
所以，作为蒙慈爱的儿女，你们该效法神。
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2要凭爱心行事，正如基督爱我们，为我们舍了自己，当作馨香的供物和祭物献给神。And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3至于淫乱和一切污秽，或是贪婪，在你们中间连提都不可，这才合乎圣徒的体统。But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4淫词、妄语和粗俗的俏皮话都不合宜；总要说感谢的话。Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5要确实知道，无论是淫乱的，是污秽的，是贪心的（贪心的就是拜偶像的），在基督和神的国里都得不到基业。行事为人要像光明的子女
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6不要被人虚浮的话欺骗了，因这些事，神的愤怒必临到那些悖逆的人。Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7所以，不要与他们同伙。Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8从前你们是暗昧的，但如今在主里面是光明的，行事为人要像光明的子女—For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9光明所结的果子就是一切的良善、公义、诚实。(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10总要察验什么是主所喜悦的事。Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11那暗昧无益的事，不可参与，倒要把这种事揭发出来。And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12因为，他们暗中所做的，就是连提起来都是可耻的。For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13凡被光所照明的都显露出来，But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14因为使一切显露出来的就是光。所以有话说： “你这睡着的人醒过来吧！ 要从死人中复活， 基督要光照你了。”Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15你们要谨慎行事，不要像无知的人，要像智慧的人。See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16要把握时机☛或译“要爱惜光阴”。，因为现今的世代邪恶。Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17不要作糊涂人，要明白主的旨意如何。Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18不要醉酒，酒能使人放荡；要被圣灵充满。And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19要用诗篇、赞美诗、灵歌彼此对说，口唱心和地赞美主。Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20凡事要奉我们主耶稣基督的名常常感谢父神。丈夫和妻子
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21要存敬畏基督的心彼此顺服。Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22作妻子的，你们要顺服自己的丈夫，如同顺服主。Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23因为丈夫是妻子的头，如同基督是教会的头；他又是这身体的救主。For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24教会怎样顺服基督，妻子也要怎样凡事顺服丈夫。Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25作丈夫的，你们要爱自己的妻子，正如基督爱教会，为教会舍己，Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26以水藉着道把教会洗净，使她成为圣洁，That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27好献给自己，作荣耀的教会，毫无玷污、皱纹等类的缺陷，而是圣洁没有瑕疵的。That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28丈夫也应当照样爱妻子，如同爱自己的身体；爱妻子就是爱自己了。So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29从来没有人恨恶自己的身体，总是保养爱惜，正像基督待教会一样，For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30因我们是他身体的肢体。For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31“为这个缘故，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。”For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32这是极大的奥秘，而我是指基督和教会说的。This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33然而，你们每个人都要爱妻子，如同爱自己一样；妻子也要敬重她的丈夫。Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
儿女和父母
作儿女的，你们要在主里☛有古卷没有“在主里”。听从父母，这是理所当然的。
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2当孝敬父母，使你得福，在世长寿。这是第一条带应许的诫命。Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3作父亲的，你们不要激怒儿女，但要照着主的教导和劝戒养育他们。仆人和主人
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4作仆人的，你们要惧怕战兢，用诚实的心听从你们肉身的主人，好像听从基督一般；And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5不要只在人的眼前这样做，像仅是讨人的喜欢，而是作基督的仆人，从心里遵行神的旨意，Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6甘心服侍，好像服侍主，不像服侍人，Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7因为知道每个人所做的善事，不论是为奴的或是自主的，都必按所做的从主得到赏赐。With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8作主人的，你们待仆人也是一样，不要威吓他们，因为知道他们和你们在天上同有一位主，他并不偏待人。与邪恶争战
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9最后，你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10要穿戴神所赐的全副军装，好抵挡魔鬼的诡计。Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11因为我们的争战并不是对抗有血有肉的人，而是对抗那些执政的、掌权的、管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空灵界的恶魔。Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12所以，要拿起神所赐的全副军装，好在邪恶的日子能抵挡仇敌，并且完成了一切后还能站立得住。For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13所以，要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14又用和平的福音当作预备走路的鞋穿在脚上。Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15此外，要拿信德当作盾牌，用来扑灭那恶者一切烧着的箭。And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16要戴上救恩的头盔，拿着圣灵的宝剑—就是神的道。Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17要靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求，并要为此警醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求。And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18也要为我祈求，让我有口才，能放胆开口讲明福音的奥秘，Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19我为这福音的奥秘作了带铁链的使者，让我能照着当尽的本分放胆宣讲。祝福
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20今有亲爱、忠心服事主的弟兄推基古，为了你们也明白我的事情和我的景况，他会让你们知道一切的事。For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21我特意打发他到你们那里去，好让你们知道我们的情况，又让他安慰你们的心。But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22愿平安☛“平安”或译“和平”。、慈爱、信心从父神和主耶稣基督归给弟兄们。Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23愿所有恒心爱我们主耶稣基督的人都蒙恩惠。Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
