神要责罚古实
祸哉！古实河的那一边、翅膀刷刷作响之地，Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
2差遣使者在水面上， 坐蒲草船过海。 你们这些疾行的使者， 要到高大光滑的民那里去； 那民远近都畏惧， 是强大好征服的国， 土地有河流穿过。That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
3世上所有的居民，住在地上的人哪， 山上大旗竖起时，你们要看， 号角吹响时，你们要听。All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
4耶和华对我如此说： “我要安静，从我的居所观看， 如同日光下闪烁的热气， 又如收割时☛“收割时”是根据一些古卷、七十士译本和其他古译本；原文是“收割的热气”。露水蒸发的云雾。”For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
5收割之前，花蕾先谢， 花成了将熟的葡萄； 他必用刀削去嫩枝， 砍掉蔓延的枝条，For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
6一起丢给山间的鸷鸟和地上的野兽； 鸷鸟要在其上避暑， 地上一切的野兽都在那里过冬。They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
7到那时，这高大光滑的民， 远近都畏惧的民、 强大好征服之国、 土地有河流穿过； 他们必被当作☛“被当作”：七十士译本是“将”。礼物献给万军之耶和华， 献到锡安山－ 万军之耶和华立他名的地方。In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
