安慰锡安的话
追求公义、 寻求耶和华的人哪， 当听从我！ 你们要追想自己是从哪块磐石凿出， 从哪个岩穴挖掘而来；Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
2要追想你们的祖宗亚伯拉罕 和生你们的撒拉； 因为我选召亚伯拉罕时，他只有一个人， 但我赐福给他， 使他增多。Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
3耶和华已经安慰锡安， 安慰了锡安一切的废墟， 使旷野如伊甸， 使沙漠像耶和华的园子； 其中必有欢喜、快乐、感谢， 和歌唱的声音。For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4我的民哪，要留心听我， 我的国啊，要向我侧耳； 因为训诲必从我而出， 我必使我的公理成为万民之光。Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
5我的公义临近， 我的救恩发出。 我的膀臂要审判万民， 众海岛都要等候我，倚赖我的膀臂。My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
6你们要向天举目， 观看下面的地； 天必像烟云消散， 地必如衣服渐渐破旧； 其上的居民也要如此☛“如此”：原文另译“像蠓虫”。死亡。 惟有我的救恩永远长存， 我的公义也不废掉。Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7知道公义、将我的训诲存在心中的人哪， 当听从我！ 不要怕人的辱骂， 也不要因人的毁谤惊惶。Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
8因为他们必像衣服被蛀虫蛀； 像羊毛被虫子咬。 惟有我的公义永远长存， 我的救恩直到万代。For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9耶和华的膀臂啊，兴起，兴起！ 以能力为衣穿上， 像古时的年日，像上古的世代一样兴起！ 从前砍碎拉哈伯☛“拉哈伯”是神话故事中的大海怪。、 刺透大鱼的，不是你吗？Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
10使海与深渊的水干涸， 在海的深处开路， 使救赎的民走过的，不是你吗？Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11耶和华救赎的民必归回， 歌唱来到锡安； 永恒的喜乐必归到他们头上。 他们必得着欢喜快乐， 忧伤叹息尽都逃避。Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12我，惟有我是安慰你们的。 你是谁，竟怕那必死的人， 怕那生命如草的世人，I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
13却忘记铺张诸天、立定地基、 造你的耶和华？ 你因欺压者图谋毁灭所发的暴怒， 终日害怕， 其实那欺压者的暴怒在哪里呢？And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
14被掳的即将得释放， 不至于死而下入地府， 也不致缺乏食物。The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
15我是耶和华－你的神， 我搅动大海，使海中的波浪澎湃， 万军之耶和华是我的名。But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
16我已将我的话放在你口中， 用我的手影遮蔽你， 为要安定诸天，立定地基， 并对锡安说：“你是我的百姓。”耶路撒冷苦难的终结
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
17耶路撒冷啊，兴起，兴起！ 站起来！ 你从耶和华手中喝了他愤怒的杯， 那使人东倒西歪的杯，直到喝尽。Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
18她所生育的孩子中，没有一个搀她的； 她所抚养的孩子中，没有一个扶她的。There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
19这双重的灾难临到你， 有谁怜悯你呢？ 破坏和毁灭，饥荒和战争临到， 我如何能安慰你呢？☛“我如何能安慰你呢？”死海古卷和七十士译本是“谁能安慰你呢？”These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
20你的孩子发昏， 在各街头躺卧， 如同网罗里的羚羊， 满了耶和华的愤怒， 满了你神的斥责。Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
21因此，你这困苦却非因酒而醉的， 当听这话，Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22你的主，耶和华， 就是为他百姓辩护的神如此说： “看哪，我已从你手中接过 那使人东倒西歪的杯， 就是我愤怒的杯， 你必不再喝。Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
23我必将这杯递在苦待你的人☛“苦待你的人”：死海古卷和七十士译本是“苦待你的人和压迫你的人”。手中。 他们曾对你说：‘你屈身， 任我们践踏过去吧！’ 你就以背为地， 又如街道，任人走过。But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
