神要惩罚埃及
论埃及的默示。
看哪，耶和华乘驾快云， 临到埃及； 埃及的偶像在他面前战兢， 埃及人的心在里面消溶。The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
2我要激起埃及人攻击埃及人， 弟兄攻击弟兄， 邻舍攻击邻舍， 这城攻击那城， 这国攻击那国。And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3埃及人的心神在里面耗尽， 我要破坏他们的计谋。 他们必求问偶像和念咒的， 求问招魂的与行巫术的人。And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
4我要将埃及人交在严厉的主人手中， 残暴的君王必管辖他们； 这是主－万军之耶和华说的。And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
5海水枯竭， 河流干涸，And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
6江河发臭， 埃及的河水必然减少而枯干。 芦苇和芦荻枯萎，And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
7尼罗河旁的植物☛“植物”：原文是“荒地”。，在尼罗河的沿岸， 并尼罗河旁所种的一切 全都枯焦，被风吹去，归于无有。The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
8打鱼的哀哭， 所有在尼罗河钓鱼的都必悲伤， 在水上撒网的也都衰残。The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
9以细致的麻编织的必羞愧， 织布的必变苍白☛本节是根据死海古卷；原文是“以细致的麻编织的和织白布的，都必羞愧”。；Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
10织布的心情沮丧☛“织布的心情沮丧”是根据死海古卷；原文是“他的支柱必打碎”。， 所有的佣工心都愁烦。And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
11琐安的官长极其愚昧， 法老智慧的谋士筹划愚谋； 你们怎敢对法老说： “我是智慧人的子孙， 是古代国王的后裔？”Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
12你的智慧人在哪里？ 万军之耶和华向埃及所定的旨意， 他们既然知道，就让他们告诉你吧！Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
13琐安的官长愚昧， 挪弗☛“挪弗”就是埃及的孟斐斯。的官长受蒙蔽； 作埃及支派栋梁的， 带领埃及走错了路。The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
14耶和华使歪曲的灵渗入埃及中间， 让他们使埃及一切所做的都出差错， 好像醉酒之人呕吐时东倒西歪一样。The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
15在埃及，无论是头是尾， 棕树枝与芦苇，所做的事都不得成就。Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
16到那日，埃及必像妇人一样，因万军之耶和华挥手攻击而战兢惧怕。In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
17犹大地必使埃及惊恐，不论向谁提起，他都惧怕。这是因万军之耶和华向埃及所定的旨意。And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18当那日，埃及地必有五个城市的人说迦南的语言，又指着万军之耶和华起誓。有一城必称为“太阳城”☛“太阳城”是根据死海古卷和许多古卷；原文是“灭亡城”。。In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
19在那日，在埃及地将有献给耶和华的一座坛，边界上必有为耶和华立的一根柱子。In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
20这都要在埃及地为万军之耶和华作记号和证据。埃及人因受欺压哀求耶和华，他就差遣一位救主作护卫者，拯救他们，And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21耶和华就被埃及所认识。在那日，埃及人要认识耶和华，献牲祭和素祭敬拜他，并向耶和华许愿还愿。And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
22耶和华必击打埃及，又击打又医治，埃及人就归向耶和华。他必应允他们的祷告，医治他们。And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23在那日，必有从埃及通往亚述的大道。亚述人要进入埃及，埃及人也要进入亚述；埃及人要与亚述人一同敬拜。In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24在那日，以色列将与埃及、亚述三国一起，使地上的人得福。In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25万军之耶和华必赐福给他们，说：“埃及－我的百姓，亚述－我手的工作，以色列－我的产业，都有福了！”Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
