神掌管未来
雅各家，称为以色列名下， 从犹大的源头而出的啊， 你们指着耶和华的名起誓， 提说以色列的神， 却不凭诚信，也不凭公义； 你们自称为圣城之民， 倚靠名为万军之耶和华－以色列的神； 现在，当听我言：Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
2“先前的事，我自古已说明， 已从我口而出， 是我所指示的； 我瞬间行事，事便成就。For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.
3因为我知道你是顽梗的； 你的颈项是铁的， 你的额头是铜的。I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
4所以，我自古就给你说明， 在事未成以先指示你， 免得你说：‘这些事是我的偶像所行的， 是我雕刻的偶像和铸造的神像所命定的。’Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
5“你既已听见，现在要察看这一切； 你们不是要说明吗？ 从今以后，我要指示你新事， 就是你所不知道的隐密事。I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
6这事是现今造的，并非自古就有， 在今日以先，你未曾听见； 免得你说：‘看哪，这事我早已知道了。’Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
7诚然你未曾听见，也未曾知道； 你的耳朵从来未曾开通。 我原知道你行事极其诡诈， 你自从出母胎以来， 就称为悖逆的。They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
8“我为我的名暂且忍怒， 为了我的荣耀向你容忍， 不将你剪除。Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
9看哪，我熬炼你，却不像熬炼银子； 你在苦难的火炉中，我试炼☛“试炼”是根据死海古卷；原文是“拣选”。你。For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
10我为自己的缘故必做这事， 我岂能被亵渎？☛“我岂能被亵渎？”七十士译本和其他古译本是“因为我的名被亵渎。” 我必不将我的荣耀归给别神☛“别神”：原文是“别的”。。Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
11雅各－我所选召的以色列啊， 当听从我： 我是耶和华， 我是首先的，也是末后的。For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
12我亲手立了地的根基， 以右手铺张诸天； 我一召唤，天地就都立定。”耶和华拣选居鲁士
Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
13“你们都当聚集而听， 偶像☛“偶像”：原文是“它们”。之中谁曾说明这些事？ 耶和华爱他，他必向巴比伦成就耶和华的旨意， 耶和华的膀臂也要加在迦勒底人身上☛“耶和华爱他...身上”：七十士译本是“我因爱你，向巴比伦成就了你的旨意，除掉了迦勒底的后裔”。。Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
14我，惟有我曾说过， 我选召他，领他来， 他的道路必亨通。All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15你们要接近我来听这话， 我从起初就未曾在隐密之处说话， 万事之始，我就在那里。” 现在，主耶和华差遣了我， 带着他的灵而来☛“差遣了我，带着他的灵而来”：原文是“差遣了我和他的灵来”。。耶和华对他子民的计划
I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16耶和华－你的救赎主， 以色列的圣者如此说： “我是耶和华－你的神， 我教导你，使你得益处， 指引你当走的路。Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
17甚愿你听从我的命令， 你的平安就会如河水， 你的公义如海浪，Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
18你的后裔必多如海沙， 你腹中所生的必多如沙粒。 他的名绝不从我面前剪除， 也不灭绝。”O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
19你们要从巴比伦出来， 从迦勒底人中逃脱， 以欢呼的声音宣告， 将这事传扬到地极，说： 耶和华救赎了他的仆人雅各！Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20他引导他们经过沙漠， 他们却未尝干渴； 他为他们使水从磐石流出， 磐石裂开，水就涌出。Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
21耶和华说： “恶人必不得平安！”And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
