到那日，耶和华必用他坚硬锐利的大刀惩罚力威亚探☛“力威亚探”是音译，一种海兽；下同。，就是那爬得快的蛇，惩罚力威亚探，就是那弯弯曲曲的蛇，并杀死海里的大鱼。
In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2当那日，你们要唱这美好☛“美好”是根据七十士译本；原文是“出酒”。葡萄园的歌：In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
3“我－耶和华看守葡萄园，按时灌溉， 昼夜看守，免得有人损害。I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
4我心中不存愤怒。 惟愿在战争中我有荆棘和蒺藜， 我就起步攻击他， 把他一同焚烧；Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
5或者让他紧靠我，以我为避难所， 与我和好， 与我和好。”Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
6将来雅各要扎根， 以色列要发芽开花， 果实遍满地面。He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
7耶和华击打以色列， 岂像击打那些击打他们的人吗？ 以色列被杀戮， 岂像其他人所遭遇的杀戮吗？Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
8你驱赶他们，放逐他们， 与他们相争。 在刮东风的日子， 他以暴风赶逐他们。In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
9所以，雅各的罪孽藉此得赦免， 除罪的效果尽在乎此； 他使祭坛的石头变为粉碎的石灰， 使亚舍拉和香坛不再立起。By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
10因为坚固的城变为荒凉， 成了被撇弃的居所，像旷野一样； 牛犊在那里吃草， 在那里躺卧，吃尽其中的树枝。Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
11它的枝条一枯干，就被折断， 妇女用以点火燃烧。 因为这百姓蒙昧无知， 所以，造他们的必不怜悯他们， 造成他们的也不施恩给他们。When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
12到那日， 以色列人哪，耶和华必像人打树拾果一般，从大河的支流，直到埃及的溪谷，将你们一一收集。And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
13当那日，号角大响；在亚述地将亡的，与被赶散至埃及地的，都要前来，在耶路撒冷圣山上敬拜耶和华。And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
