大衛在洞裏作的訓誨詩，是一篇祈禱。求主眷顧
我出聲哀告耶和華，
出聲懇求耶和華。 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2我在他面前倾诉我的苦情， 在他面前陈说我的患难。I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
3我的灵在我里面发昏的时候， 你知道我的道路。 在我所行的路上， 人为我暗设罗网。When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4求你留意向我右边观看， 无人认识我； 我无避难之处， 也无人眷顾我。I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5耶和华啊，我曾向你哀求。 我说：“你是我的避难所， 在活人之地，你是我的福分。”I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6求你留心听我的呼求， 因我落到极卑微之地； 求你救我脱离迫害我的人， 因为他们比我强盛。Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7求你从被囚之地领我出来， 我好颂扬你的名。 义人必环绕我， 因为你用厚恩待我。Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
