大衛的訓誨詩。認罪與蒙赦
過犯得赦免，
罪惡蒙遮蓋的人有福了！ Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2耶和华不算为有罪， 内心没有诡诈的人有福了！Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3我闭口不认罪的时候， 因终日呻吟而骨头枯干。When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4黑夜白日，你的手压在我身上沉重； 我的精力耗尽☛“我的精力耗尽”：有古卷是“田中的残梗枯干”。，如同夏天的干旱。（细拉）For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5我向你陈明我的罪， 不隐瞒我的恶。 我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”； 你就赦免我的罪恶。（细拉）I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6为此，凡虔诚人都当趁你可寻找☛“趁你可寻找”：原文另译“在患难”。的时候向你祷告； 大水泛滥的时候，必不临到他。For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7你是我藏身之处， 你必保佑我脱离苦难， 以得救的欢呼☛“得救的欢呼”：原文另译“得救”。四面环绕我。（细拉）Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8我要教导你，指示你当行的路， 我要定睛在你身上劝戒你。I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9你不可像那无知的骡马， 须用嚼环缰绳勒住， 不然，它就不会靠近你。Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10恶人必多受苦楚； 惟独倚靠耶和华的，必有慈爱四面环绕他。Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11义人哪，你们应当靠耶和华欢喜快乐， 心里正直的人哪，你们都当欢呼。Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
