大衛的詩。讚美的禱告
耶和華是我的亮光，是我的拯救，
我還怕誰呢？ 耶和華是我生命的保障， 我還懼誰呢？ The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2那作恶的就是我的仇敌， 前来吃我肉的时候就绊跌仆倒。When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3虽有军队安营攻击我，我的心也不害怕； 虽然兴起战争攻击我，我仍旧安稳。Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4有一件事，我曾求耶和华，我仍要寻求， 就是一生一世住在耶和华的殿中， 瞻仰他的荣美，在他的殿宇里求问。One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5因为我遭遇患难，他必将我隐藏在他的帐棚里， 把我藏在他帐幕的隐密处， 将我高举在磐石上。For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6现在我得以昂首，高过四面的仇敌。 我要在他的帐幕里欢然献祭， 我要唱诗歌颂耶和华。And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7耶和华啊，我呼求的时候，求你垂听我的声音； 求你怜悯我，应允我。Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8你说：“你们当寻求我的面。” 那时我的心向你说： “耶和华啊，你的面我正要寻求。”When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
9求你不要转脸不顾我， 不要发怒赶逐你的仆人， 你向来是帮助我的。 救我的神啊，不要离开我， 也不要撇弃我。Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10即使我的父母撇弃我， 耶和华终必收留我。When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我， 因我仇敌的缘故引导我走平坦的路。Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12求你不要把我交给敌人，遂其所愿； 因为妄作见证的和口吐凶言的都起来攻击我。Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13我深信在活人之地 必得见耶和华的恩惠。I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14要等候耶和华， 当壮胆，坚固你的心， 要等候耶和华！Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
