上行之詩。求助的祈禱
耶和華啊，
我從深處求告你！ Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
2主啊，求你听我的声音！ 求你侧耳听我恳求的声音！Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3耶和华啊，你若究察罪孽， 主啊，谁能站得住呢？If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4但在你有赦免之恩， 要叫人敬畏你。But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5我等候耶和华，我的心等候； 我也仰望他的话。I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6我的心等候主，胜于守夜的等候天亮， 胜于守夜的等候天亮。My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7以色列啊，你当仰望耶和华， 因耶和华有慈爱，有丰盛的救恩。Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8他必救赎以色列 脱离一切的罪孽。And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
