大衛的詩。交給聖詠團長。耶和華的全知和眷顧
耶和華啊，你已經鑒察我，
認識我。 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2我坐下，我起来，你都晓得； 你从远处知道我的意念。Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3我行路，我躺卧，你都细察； 你也深知我一切所行的。Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4耶和华啊，我舌头上的话， 你没有一句不知道的。For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5你前后环绕我， 按手在我身上。Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6这样的知识奇妙，是我不能测的； 至高，是我不能及的。Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7我往哪里去，躲避你的灵？ 我往哪里逃，躲避你的面？Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8我若升到天上，你在那里； 我若躺在阴间，你也在那里。If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9我若展开清晨的翅膀， 飞到海极居住，If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10就是在那里，你的手必引导我， 你的右手也必扶持我。Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11我若说“黑暗必定压碎我， 我周围的亮光必成为黑夜”，If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12黑暗对你不再是黑暗， 黑夜却如白昼发亮。 黑暗和光明， 在你看来都是一样。Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13我的肺腑是你所造的， 我在母腹中，你已编织☛“编织”或译“覆庇”。我。For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14我要称谢你，因我受造奇妙可畏， 你的作为奇妙，这是我心深知道的。I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15我在暗中受造，在地的深处被塑造； 那时，我的形体并不向你隐藏。My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16我未成形的体质， 你的眼早已看见了； 你所定的日子，我尚未度一日， 都在你的册子写上了。Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17神啊，你的意念向我何等宝贵！ 其数何等众多！How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18我若数点，比海沙更多； 我睡醒的时候，仍和你同在。If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19神啊，惟愿你杀戮恶人； 你们好流人血的，离开我去吧！Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20他们说恶言顶撞你， 你的仇敌妄称你的名☛原文没有“你的名”。。For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21耶和华啊，恨恶你的，我岂不恨恶他们吗？ 攻击你的，我岂不憎恶他们吗？Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22我恨恶他们到极点， 以他们为我的仇敌。I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23神啊，求你鉴察我，知道我的心思， 试炼我，知道我的意念；Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24看在我里面有什么恶行没有， 引导我走永生的道路。And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
