大衛的詩。交給聖詠團長。信靠神的祈禱
耶和華啊，我投靠你，
求你使我永不羞愧， 憑你的公義搭救我！ In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2求你侧耳听我， 快快救我！ 求你作我坚固的磐石， 拯救我的保障！Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
3你真是我的岩石、我的山寨， 求你为你名的缘故引导我，指教我。For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4求你救我脱离人为我暗设的网罗， 因为你是我的保障。Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
5我将我的灵交在你手里； 耶和华─信实的神啊，你救赎了我。Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
6我☛“我”：有古卷、七十士译本和其他古译本是“你”。恨恶那信奉虚无神明☛“虚无神明”：原文是“虚无”。的人； 我却倚靠耶和华。I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
7我要因你的慈爱欢喜快乐， 因为你见过我的困苦， 知道我心中的艰难。I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8你未曾把我交在仇敌手里， 你使我的脚站在宽阔的地方。And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
9耶和华啊，求你怜悯我， 因为我在急难之中； 我的眼睛因忧愁而昏花， 我的身心也已耗尽。Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10我的生命为愁苦所消耗， 我的年岁为叹息所荒废； 我的力量因我的罪孽☛“罪孽”：原文另译“苦难”。衰败， 我的骨头也枯干。For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
11我因所有的敌人成了羞辱， 在我邻舍跟前更加羞辱； 那认识我的都惧怕我， 在街上看见我的都躲避我。I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
12我被遗忘，如同死人，无人记念； 我好像破碎的器皿。I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
13我听见许多人的毁谤， 四围尽是惊吓； 他们一同商议攻击我， 图谋害我的性命。For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
14耶和华啊，我仍要倚靠你； 我说：“你是我的神。”But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
15我终生的事在你手中， 求你救我脱离仇敌的手和那些迫害我的人。My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16求你使你的脸向仆人发光， 凭你的慈爱拯救我。Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
17耶和华啊，求你叫我不致羞愧， 因为我曾呼求你； 求你使恶人羞愧， 使他们在阴间缄默无声。Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
18那撒谎的人逞骄傲轻慢， 出狂妄的话攻击义人， 愿他的嘴哑而无言。Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19在世人眼前， 你为敬畏你的人所积存的， 为投靠你的人所施行的， 是何等大的恩惠啊！Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
20你必将他们藏在你面前的隐密处， 免得遭人暗算； 你要隐藏他们在棚子里， 免受口舌的争闹。Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21耶和华是应当称颂的， 因为我在围城里，他向我施展奇妙的慈爱。Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
22至于我，我曾惊惶地说： “我从你眼前被隔绝。” 然而，我呼求你的时候， 你仍听我恳求的声音。For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23耶和华的圣民哪，你们都要爱他！ 耶和华保护诚实可靠的人， 却加倍报应行事骄傲的人。O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24凡仰望耶和华的人， 你们都要壮胆，坚固你们的心！Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
