（撒上19．11－17）
我的神啊，求你救我脫離仇敵，
把我安置在高處，脫離那些起來攻擊我的人。 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
2求你救我脱离作恶的人， 救我脱离好流人血的人！Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3因为他们埋伏要害我命， 强悍的人聚集攻击我， 耶和华啊，不是为我的过犯， 也不是为我的罪愆。For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
4我虽然无过，他们急忙摆阵攻击我。 求你兴起，来帮助我，来鉴察！They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
5万军之耶和华神－以色列的神啊， 求你醒起，惩治万国！ 不要怜悯行诡诈的恶人！（细拉）Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
6他们晚上转回， 叫号如狗，围城绕行。They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
7看哪，他们口中喷吐恶言， 嘴里有刀： “有谁听见呢？”Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
8但你－耶和华必讥笑他们， 你要嗤笑万国。But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
9我☛“我”：有古卷是“你”。的力量啊，我要等候你， 因为神是我的庇护所。Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
10我的神要以慈爱☛“我的神要以慈爱”：有古卷是“慈爱的神”。迎接我， 神要叫我看见我的仇敌遭报。The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
11主，我们的盾牌啊， 不要杀他们，免得我的子民遗忘； 求你用你的能力使他们四散， 使他们降为卑。Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12愿他们因口中的罪和嘴唇的言语， 被自己的骄傲抓住， 他们所说的尽是咒骂和谎话。For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13求你发怒，使他们消灭， 求你使他们消灭，归于无有， 使他们知道神在雅各中间掌权， 直到地极。（细拉）Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
14他们晚上转回， 叫号如狗，围城绕行。And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
15他们到处走动觅食， 若不饱足就咆哮不已。Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
16但我要歌颂你的能力， 早晨要高唱你的慈爱； 因为你是我的庇护所， 在急难的日子作过我的避难所。But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17我的力量啊，我要歌颂你； 因为神是我的庇护所， 是赐恩给我的神。Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
