大衛上行之詩。耶路撒冷頌
我喜樂，
因人對我說：「我們到耶和華的殿去。」 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2耶路撒冷啊， 我们的脚站在你门内。Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3耶路撒冷被建造， 如同连结整齐的一座城。Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4众支派就是耶和华的支派，上那里去， 按以色列的法度颂扬耶和华的名。Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5他们在那里设立审判的宝座， 就是大卫家的宝座。For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6你们要为耶路撒冷求平安： “愿爱你的人兴旺！Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7愿你城中有平安！ 愿你宫内得平静！”Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8为我弟兄和同伴的缘故，我要说： “愿你平安！”For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9为耶和华－我们神殿的缘故， 我要为你求福！Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
