大衛因便雅憫人古實的話，向耶和華唱的流離歌。為公義而祈禱
耶和華－我的神啊，我投靠你！
求你救我脫離所有追趕我的人，搭救我出來！ O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2免得他们像狮子撕裂我， 甚至撕碎，无人搭救。Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3耶和华－我的神啊，我若行了这事， 若有罪孽在我手里，O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4我若以恶回报我的朋友， 连那无故与我为敌的，我也救了他☛“连那...救了他”：原文另译“或无缘无故掠夺与我为敌的人”。，If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
5就任凭仇敌追赶我，直到追上， 把我的性命踏在地上， 使我的荣耀归于灰尘。（细拉）Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6耶和华啊，求你在怒中起来， 挺身而立，抵挡我敌人的烈怒！ 求你为我兴起！你已经发令施行审判。Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7愿万民聚集环绕你！ 愿你居高位统治他们！So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8耶和华向万民施行审判； 耶和华啊，求你按我的公义 和我心中的纯正判断我。The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9愿恶人的恶断绝！ 愿你坚立义人！ 因为公义的神察验人的心肠肺腑。Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10神是我的盾牌， 他拯救心里正直的人。My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11神是公义的审判者， 又是天天向恶人发怒的神。God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12若有人不回头，他的刀必磨快， 弓必上弦，预备妥当。If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13他也预备了致死的兵器， 他所射的是火箭。He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14看哪，恶人怀邪恶， 养毒害，生虚假。Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15他掘了坑，挖得太深， 竟掉在自己所挖的陷阱里。He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16他的毒害必回到自己头上， 他的残暴必落到自己的脑袋上。His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17我要照着耶和华的公义称谢他， 要歌颂耶和华至高者的名。I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
