上行之詩。求主憐憫
坐在天上的主啊，
我向你舉目。 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2看哪，仆人的眼睛怎样仰望主人的手， 婢女的眼睛怎样仰望女主人的手， 我们的眼睛也照样仰望耶和华－我们的神， 直到他怜悯我们。Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3耶和华啊，求你怜悯我们，怜悯我们！ 因为我们受尽了藐视。Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4我们受尽了安逸人的讥诮 和骄傲人的藐视。Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
