（詩40．13－17）
神啊，求你快快搭救我！
耶和華啊，求你速速幫助我！ Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
2愿那些寻索我命的，抱愧蒙羞； 愿那些喜悦我遭害的，退后受辱。Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3愿那些对我说“啊哈、啊哈”的， 因羞愧退后。Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4愿所有寻求你的，因你欢喜快乐； 愿那些喜爱你救恩的，常说：“当尊神为大！”Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5但我是困苦贫穷的； 神啊，求你速速到我这里来！ 你是帮助我的，搭救我的； 耶和华啊，求你不要耽延！But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
