大衛的詩。王的諾言
我要歌唱慈愛和公平，
耶和華啊，我要向你歌頌！ I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2我要用智慧行完全的道。 你几时到我这里来呢？ 我要以纯正的心行在我家中。I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3邪僻的事，我都不摆在我眼前； 悖逆的人所做的事，我甚恨恶， 不容沾在我身上。I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4歪曲的心思，我必远离； 邪恶的事情，我不知道。A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5暗中谗害他邻居的，我必将他灭绝； 眼目高傲、心里骄纵的，我必不容忍。Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6我眼要看顾地上诚实可靠的人，使他们与我同住； 行正直路的，他要侍候我。Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
7行诡诈的，必不得住在我家里； 说谎言的，必不得立在我眼前。He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
8我每日早晨要灭绝地上所有的恶人， 把作恶的从耶和华的城里全都剪除。I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
