大衛的金詩。為信心穩固而祈禱
神啊，求你保佑我，
因為我投靠你。 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2我☛“我”：有古卷是“你”。曾对耶和华说：“你是我的主， 我的福气惟独从你而来。”O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3论到世上的圣民，他们是尊贵的人， 是我最喜悦的。But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4追逐☛“追逐”：原文另译“选择”。别神的， 他们的愁苦必增加； 他们所浇奠的血我不献上， 我嘴唇也不提别神的名号。Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5耶和华是我的产业，是我杯中的福分； 我所得的，你为我持守。The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6用绳量给我的地界，坐落在佳美之处； 我的产业实在美好。The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7我要称颂那指引我的耶和华， 在夜间我的心肠也指教我。I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8我让耶和华常在我面前， 因他在我右边，我就不致动摇。I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9因此，我的心欢喜，我的灵☛“灵”：原文是“荣耀”。快乐； 我的肉身也要安然居住。Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10因为你必不将我的灵魂☛“我的灵魂”或译“我”。撇在阴间， 也不让你的圣者见地府☛“地府”：七十士译本是“朽坏”。。For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11你必将生命的道路指示我。 在你面前有满足的喜乐， 在你右手中有永远的福乐。Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
